B.S. Berman reported it and asked why was Williams on the bench in OT and Kubiak said he wanted the best 11 men on the field. That site you looking at might be the mistake. I know what i saw on FOX.

The Clippers drafted good players for years and sucked. What were they about? Until recently, they were never willing to spend the bucks to keep their top players... they certainly did not appear committed to pursuing a championship. Teams can make money w/o pursuing championships. So the question is, how committed are they to that goal?

Curious... how did you feel about how the Texans have managed their players... e.g. veteran defensive personnel last year?

    Sad part is
If you going to have a DINK and DUMP Offense
    that is his PERFECT Offense
He can take 3 yrd passes and make them into 50 yrders

You know IF I lived in Tennessee I would be pretty mad at VY and Bud b/c it seems like they are playing and winning for Houston fans instead of the city of Nashville.

For instance, after the draft most players are flown to their NFL corresponding cities except VY and Bud. They flow to Houston instead of Nashville for introductions. Then all this hype going into game that the Texans should have pick me, ect... What you’re not happy to be a Titan??
And both make their home in Houston. At least Mario & Carr cut lose of their local ties and became Houstonians.
As a Titan fan I would be like get over it you are not in Houston anymore you’re a Tennessee Titan.

I think as long as he is producing TDs in the Titan Blue they could care less where he spends his non-football time.

just wanted to share, i've jumped on the VY bandwagon. i was just watching some of this madden challenge on espn and they had vince playing some kid and vince was decked out in rockets gear. hat, a #10 jersey. it really hit me then, that this guy is a true houstonian and could have been the face of the texans for years.

he's won me over with the rockets.

not rooting for the titans, ever, but i like do like vince.

That's certainly part of it. He wears his hometown on his sleeve... he did everything he could to put himself in a position to play in Houston... it's not his fault the Texans didn't select him.

I wonder how many Titans fans were pissed when Vince tried to claim that the Titans were really the true Houston hometown team ... the Oilers.

I'd think most titan fans are pretty happy with the way things are going

I wasnt a big fan of Mario Williams when they picked him.(wanted Bush) But every time he makes a big play a little part of me smiles inside(and recently outside) because the naysayers are being proven wrong. I am not a fan of UT, USC or Maryland.

Young made the pro-bowl last year as an injury replacement. Williams is going to the pro-bowl this year as the conference leader in sacks. (As it stands with 2+ weeks left)

"What in the hell did we do??" As a Texan fan I say we made a pretty good move.

Will you like it next year if he sucks again? And what if Bush and Young start to tear it up... just wondering.

Why would he suck unless he gets hurt again? We would have seen some of this last year if he hadn't had a messed up foot.
