Hopefully a respect for life. And you would be labeled a Christian extremest. Why can't they be stopped? Who is trying to stop them, and how? It does not work out because of the suffering it creates. How long will the families of everyone who is dead suffer? Will this act sow the seeds for future violence? Will it cause more mistrust, fear, and misunderstanding? Will it the the cause of future bloodshed? All they have to say is that the people they kill are not "innocent". Innocent of what? Personally, I never hear Muslims speak of non-violence. Why is that? Why it is so easy for these self-proclamied "Muslims" to find religious texts which support their atrocities?
I will do my part. Muslism have denounced terrorism enough. It's just that you can't read most of what they write. The only link you have with Arabs in CNN and Jazeera at times, and that's not the best media. We have a saying that if a person acts deaf and blind, then they will not hear you the first time or the hunderdth time.
The problem is that the perception around the world is that the Muslim community supports a lot of this, or at least sits idly by. All that does is create a world where being a Muslim will make you a suspecious target, and even further, if this continues it could lead to much worse situations for Muslims. The last thing this world needs is another war with religious underpinnings. Especially since the balance of power is so primarily one sided. DD
- When you live in trash for your whole life, you have no education, you have no money... basically, when your mind is vulnerable and you will listen to anyone who's willing to take you in... you have no respect for life. - Which is wrong. Because being an extremist means that you remain within the limits of that religion, just at the EXTREME end. These people fall OUT of the borders of religion, meaning they are not extremists. - They can't be stopped because more and more Muslims are beoming oppressed, which leads them to desperation and vulnerability. the best solution is to stop them from becoming vulnerable, not to terminate them after they have been affected. No one is doing this. Even the U.S. is interested in a much bigger picture, and that picture only includes a thumbnail of this problem. - When judgement day comes, everyone will be rewarded for the suffering they endured, and everyone will be punished for the unjust suffering they incurred. In the end, it all works out. - Did it ever cross your mind that what they say may simply be FALSE? - See Aggie Rocket's post. It's easy to "find" that kind of text in tons of religions. The texts are taken out of context, so they don't really support their cause. Killing innocent people is wrong. These people think that it's ok for innocent people to die because they died for a bigger cause.
