I would go, and be happy to discuss man to man the game of basketball, but I wouldn't want to be around all the boot lickers that would show up and fawn all over the guy because he is in the NBA.

Not worth his or my time in that case.

I will not let him insult me like this!

So what if I've never played competitive basketball, gained 30 pounds since highschool. and do remote research for a company out of my apartment. I will not let him insult me by calling me an obese person who doesn't play sports who works out of the home!

    Oh wait.

What T-Will did there with the "fat obese fan" characterization

Is the SAME thing CF members do on HERE downtalking "typical Clutchfans"

GENERALIZING EVERYONE based on ONE SMALL NEGATIVE SAMPLE just so they can get some "SHAMING" in on others.

How about those people with their bitterness and butthurtness and battling, instead of trying to be "hard" against the grain how about actually getting right to lending something CONSTRUCTIVE.

I'd have a dinner with T-Will, and I would speak having HIS best interests in mind in the most objective man-to-man respectful way possible.

But thats the thing - it'd be disigenuous to think T-Will has NEVER received ANY ANY GENIUNE truthful man-to-man dialogue before. As though everyone is FAILING him. It just shows he disregards it because he doesn't "feed" off that. He instead focuses on petty detractors and that type of stuff.

I'd simply tell Terrance that yes you're supposed to do what comes "natural" , and you see guys around the league like Durant and McGrady making it look "pure", and it is PERSONALLY FUNNER to play that way. But his version of "natural" just isnt GOOD enough for WINNING basketball. He's gonna to work on the more DISCIPLINED aspects to ADD to what he has.

Hahah can you imagine Vernon Maxwell in this day and age doing that ?? Clutchfans, including myself, would be all over him for shooting way too much even when he's off. We would call for his head after every 0-7, 1-8 FG game etc. Max: come to dinner and let's talk, if you think you so tough and want me gone. Nobody would even dare to go, the guy would show up with a gun :p

Eh it's probably a larger sample than we would like to admit. I'm not obese but I have a little extra to love. Also, I will not deny I am a nerd. I love Star Wars and basketball stats :).

I imagine it is annoying for somebody who is a pro athlete to read regular Joes criticizing him at something he is an expert at. Additionally he works with other experts who can tell him everything he is doing wrong already. My advice is if he reads this, he needs to take it with a grain of salt and not care or he shouldn't read it at all.

Oh, whats this ... "typical Clutchfan" talk. You must be one'a them...

    {Oh yeah, I'm proud to let my geek flag fly :grin: If i wasnt so fat & lazy to go get the flag...}

Thats what I'm getting at. That kinda action is supposed to look like "voice of truth". When really its just being DISMISSIVE for dismissive sake, and adding NOTHING of real constructive value. (Can I say "typical T-Will supporter"?)

But yeah I agree with you

I would go but I am out of shape and work from home.

Me going would be solidifying his stereotype.
