Oh Well is right. Unfortunately, it looks like when I started this thread I was right too that first two or three week long relationship with Adelman and the front office came back to bite him in the A#$.

Everyone thought he had all the time in the world to impress and improve. Its the NBA folks, your window is short and quick. He got a second chance and that cost him court time last year.

He also is a victim on the lockout and training camp, but looking back at last year getting in Adelman's doghouse early didnt help his cause. The NBA is tough and its going to get tougher for Terrence Williams going into next season with a non-guarenteed contract.

Good luck, your going to need it.

He'll be out of the league in two years. Mentally the guy is a trainwreck. Immature.

How can you not understand that just because your option did not get picked up that the team does not have interest in bringing you back? It's all about market value and cap room...and T-Will's value is below the lottery pick contract he received.

Hope if another team wants him they happen to have blue jerseys. Whatever will he do?

Thanks for wasting our pick, Tweeter. Good riddance.

I really hoped he would turn out but tweeting about not being signed is amateur.

Anyone else think that it's Les who doesn't want T-Will back as opposed to Morey... aka Les is the one who is "calling shots that shouldn't"?

He won't go for nothing ... Rockets (especially after reading those tweets) will probably trade him to a team that's "intrigued" by him.

The guy can't even get off the bench when the door is wide open to grab a rotation spot (see December 2012, as in one month ago). Why would anyone in the organization want him back at anything more than the minimum?

Because he would have grabbed a rotation spot if Parsons wasn't doing his smoother Shane Battier impression? Courtney Lee and Goran Dragic make up the backup backcourt and they're both above average backups. Williams isn't necessarily devoid of value, just not as much as the ones competing with him for the rotation spots on this team.

He's 4th string SF on a team whose main weakness is SF.

Get that guy off our team already. He is more a locker room distraction and practice body than anything else. His life is Twitter and not basketball. Dude isn't going anywhere in life but another team to warm their bench

All the talent in the world but doesn't have NBA bball IQ. He needs to join the European leagues or And1 mix tapes. He is a beast one on one but just doesn't grasp how he is supposed to play in a professional NBA team.

You were NOT right about too much. Profiling him accurately as a head case, okay. Though the reasons you stated don't really confirm your conclusions.

T-Will wasn't in Adelman's doghouse, he was never IN the HOUSE to BEGIN WITH :p Meaning he started on the OUTSIDE, and didnt do enough to get IN.

Its like saying Hasheem Thabeet was in the Adelman "doghouse" too. Its just that Hasheem didnt do enough to IMPRESS to GET consideration. Almost the same situation as T-Will, had a chance with ANOTHER coach and still didnt earn time.

McHale is a NEW COACH and shown he is NOT THAT concerned about last year Adelman guys. He's got Chandler Parsons playing and Adelman's boy Chase Budinger riding pine.

This. I don't know what went wrong with T-will, but honestly if I were DM i'd really think about giving him another year. Dude can play, if you give up on him now you just threw away a pick.

Bima is right, not extending T-will might be more a cap maneuver than saying T-will ain't worth 3.5 mil (which is like chump change for NBA players). If we can't get that max FA let's brign him back. Maybe a real summer of workout and training will do him some good.

Even if the rockets did offer him a contract in the offseason it would make more sense for him and his career to go somewhere else. Well, if someone else offers him a contract.

I think every player would take not getting their option picked up as the organization telling them they aren't wanted/needed. And, I don't think it's really an effort thing, he's really just not good enough to be in our rotation. Dragic and Lee can do most of the things he does and they can shoot. There are some but it's really hard to be a good guard in this league if you can't shoot.

I'm happy that he is leaving. He is just a terrible basketball player. He has talent, but he is just not a team player. Last time I checked, basketball was a team game. Sorry dude, time to grow up. If he wants to improve, he should really go to Europe, humble a bit and learn team ball.
