I'm not defending him but I won't stand for someone saying twitter causes your basketball abilities to regress or that you on court abilities are connected in some shape or for with INTERNET POSTS.

Silly tweets like the ones from yesterday certainly don't help. I like Williams and would like for him to reach his potential as a Rocket, but the "kid" is really a dumbass.

As long as he isn't hurting the team, because that's all I care about.

This guy needs to be reprimanded by the team and I hope Scola and Martin will body check him in practice hard!! What an *******, no respect for the team, such an egotistic loser. GTFO lazy hungry ass.

 

What t-will said was no big deal. He never dissed Scola/Martin, all he said was that he was looking forward to playing with Gasol. If you think that would piss off Scola/Martin then how do you think they feel about Morey? You know the guy who actually traded them and wanted them out?

 

It's not the on court abilities that are connected, it's on court opportunities. Any job works that way. Unless you're one of a kind, employers aren't going to give you opportunities when you act a fool. If he was tearing it up when he did step on the court, then maybe the great play would outweigh the bad publicity, but thats not the case. And the owner and coaches won't feel bad for him, if he's playing on cruise control when he does get an opportunity. Eventually the negatives, on and off the court, will become too consistent for them to keep him.

Unless he shuts up and plays well.

 

I dont think he really dissed them too bad, but to answer your question, Morey can't work based one who he likes or not. He can love you and still trade you, or hate you and keep you. His actions are tied to what the coaches/owner want and money numbers. Twill, on the other hand, doesn't have that pressure or influence. His actions/words are tied to what he thinks himself.

 

Which he has NEVER done, and always blames someone else for not being able to do it.
