    Morey is selling the Angle that Terrence Williams is a future all-star... Is it hype to get a trade going or is it honesty? Is he really that good, and by good I mean, does he have the Basketball IQ to excel as an all-star. Because from everything I hear he has the talent....

    Is TWill Morey's guy? Is that why the tone went serious with regards to Adelman, and who is refusing to play TWill right now?

    The Drama seems like too much.... :grin:

    The stats I posted mean a hell of a lot more than Pts rebounds and assists. They take into account efficiency, turnovers, how he improves his teammates' play, etc.

    Let's just say I'm not impressed by his 20/10 games when his career FG% is in the 30s.

    Oh and in response to the other poster, we are comparing him to Bud, both have similar playing time in their careers. We can debate all day about his potential but not when you're comparing him to someone YOUNGER AND BETTER lol...

    How was he supposed to make his teammates in New Jersey better? Don't you think his stats might be a little skewed knowing that he was playing for the worst team, with the worst coach of all time?

    His 30-10-10 in the DLeague speaks more loudly than any of his skewed NBA stats...

    Actually Tyson Chandler is leading the league in category while Lebron isn't even in the twenty. Tyson Chandler is the best offensive player in the league.

    I agree. If he didn't have his stint in the NBADL then I dont think there is any way Morey makes the trade.

    Morey has been courting him since last year, actually since the draft. When a player can put up his type of overall number its no question that he can excel in the d-league. He is pretty much everything that Shane is not. Athletic, young, physically fit, dark skin, not a pure shooter, average defense. Point being, we do not need another Battier on the court we need someone who can bring everything that Shane lacks. Give Twill some time on the court so he can develop his identity and it will be scary, or at least we will find out if he is a bust or a steal

    Saying bud is better is a reach. What does he do better than Williams besides spot up shooting?

    So T-Will needs to work on his shooting during the off-season. His shot selection will improve along with more experience. That's the only weakness in his game that stands out so far. He just needs to develop a strong work ethic.

    In comparison then - how many things does Bud need to work on hia overall game? And how many faults/weaknesses stand out in Buds game? Practically everything. The guy cant even shoot well anymore.

    Now the stats you provided that mean way more than points rebounds and assists. Are you talking about the same stats where -

    I'm guessing T-will will be getting some PT pretty soon. Once we make a trade, we'll probably free up one of our wings and let him slide into the open rotation spot.

    Wouldn't count on it till the summer actually. There is a good chance that no major deals will be made anyways unless the Melo deal goes down in the next 72 hours which I doubt. If the Melo deal drags on till the deadline then it will be hard for many other deals to get done. Unless a trade goes down I dont see there being any major changes to the rotations made.
