This royalty rubbish is becoming too annoying. Players need to be held accountable when they keep performing like crap game after game. Instead he gives them more time.

I just dont get it. He is willing to give Brooks+Bud+Hill all they playing time and chances in the world to prove themselves but not even 1 proper game for T-Will. So what if Brooks+Bud+Hill know the Aldeman style? That notion ls absolutely uselss if those players cant produce within that style - which they clearly havent been doing.

He is too damn stubborn to admit his mistakes. Bad ingridient if you want a championship caliber coach. BTW this is not his Portland Or Sacramento team so dont bother reminding me how good he was with those teams.

I totally agree with the "set in his ways" notion about Adelman. He has ran the same offense for so many years, and refuses to change. His defense... effort isnt all it takes Rick, you do need to coach defense as well or pull out the players who are hurting this team time after time on every defensive posession.

If he bases Terrence not playing on his ability to fit into his offense than I think that is utter crap.

Adelman should be CONSIDERED for the Hall of Fame, but much of his coaching credit in the past has to be handed to the players he coached as well. His best days with the Blazers he had unquestionably the 2nd best shooting guard in the league in Clyde Drexler.

Then he goes to Sacremento where they had a great mix of veterans with talent and one of the top all stars in the league in Chris Webber. Look at his days in Golden State(which everyone forgets about) where they had an up and coming young team... and very little success.

Adelman is not a good coach for young talent unless he is forced to play them. He needs a susperstar to hide his faults as a coach. Its as simple as that.

Terrence needs to just turn off his Twitter account because he's not helping himself out here by hurting his reputation with the people that will make a bigger difference in his career after this season... the front office and the owner.

Terrence will most likely sit the bench the rest of the season, and thats just the way it is with Adelman. The silver lining here is though that Adelman most likely will be out at the end of this season and we can get a coach in who actually can develop young talent.

Adelman is a great coach. Phil Jackson nor Jerry Sloan nor Jeff Van Gundy nor Larry Brown could get more out of this bunch than Adelman has.

Is Jackson not a HoF coach because he's worked with the GOAT? Is Sloan not HoF because he worked with one of the greatest PGs and PFs ever? Seriously, what is with this crap that Adelman won't develop young guys? Because he won't play T-Will? That's it? Ignoring that Brooks developed under him, and Lowry's gotten better, and Patterson's been playing lately, and so on and so on?

You want a guy who can develop young talent, go grab Kurt Rambis or Del Negro. I'll be here supporting a coach who actually knows what he's doing.

Ill support Adelman when he coaches this team how to play defense.

However Adelman is a GREAT coach on offense. Ill give him that much. But on Defense, the coaching sucks. Sloan would never let Scola repeatedly game after game swipe after the ball after the opposing team gets the rebound, allowing for easy points in transition and points in the paint.

Those are YMCA mistakes, but Adelman will not pull anyone based on defense alone, only offense. He only plays people that fit into and know his system, and people that he knows can run his offense.

The defense sucks because we don't have a center. Jerry Sloan would not be able to get this team to play defense.

not only because we have no center. I've seen a ton of possessions where players switch when they shouldn't switch, go under a pick when they should go through it and have their hands down and aren't active in the paint boxing out to get a rebound.

THAT is coaching. Rick is a crappy defensive coach.

I think most people just want to see the dude get a chance. Haven't seen anyone say he can be our savior.

No one said anything about being a savior. What people are angry about is that he is in no way worse than Bud or Battier and we are losing playing them. If they are winning while dumbass RA insists on logging them for heavy minutes, fine I can be happy with that. The problem is, both of them for the most part sucks now, and we are losing, yet RA refuses to play anyone else or try other options. I will be so happy when we get rid of RA. I was never happy to get him in the first place, but it was what it was.

Exactly. Scola has been a major deficiency this year on defense because he hovers around the basket hoping to steal the ball away from the opposing teams rebounder(which never works) and that little bit of time he wastes allows the opposing team to get players in transition or gain position on offense. This has never been corrected by Adelman.

Also-the most important part of starting a defensive posession is putting pressure on the PG bringing the ball up the court. This slows down the offense and this rushes the offense to get a shot off in a shorter period of time. Again, this has never been corrected by the coaching.

    Defensive rotations- never correct.

I can go on and on if you want. Maybe the players just aren't buying into it, but ultimately its his decision to pull players if they aren't doing what they supposed to on Defense and he doesn't do that with players that play well in his system offensively.

Terrence Williams = Gerald Wallace in Sacramento

Twill is not our savior, a good center would be our Savior. But Williams game brings a new dimension to our team game.
Not only is he the only player on our team that can take his off the dribble. His vision is crucial when playing in RA type offense.

He just needs to work thur the offseason, improve in the summer league, work his butt off in traing camp, and bring it during the preseason

better retweeting other peoples thoughts on twitter than heading to the locker room in a middle of a game

if williams doesnt get his time after the trade deadline though i may be through watch this team play this season i mean if you arent going to make the playoffs and I have serious doubts after last nights egg then at least play the guys who will help the team in the future. i have a hard time watching this team play no defense night in and night out and seeing some guys who absolutely look clueless out there and hurting the team get minutes while the young hungry players (patterson, smith, williams) sit at the end of the bench and rarely get PT

    LOL!

Damn right. I'm almost 65% sure Adelman will resign as the coach and leave the team Sikma if we don't make a trade for a star player. Rebuilding here we come!

Williams, right now, would be a way better option to play than Aaron Brooks. Brooks isn't scoring and can't play defense to save his life. He is currently a huge liabilty. Broos needs to be the first one out in a trade.

HE was retweeting tweets of fans asking for more playing time for him. This kid is so immature.

TWill needs to play more because he and Battier combined for 7 for 7 against Denver and he and Lowry combined for 15 for 18 vs. Philly.
