Hmmmm. This guy is no dummy. I was impressed with his remarks. Seems to understand his role. Now, we will see what he can do.

He sounds better than on Twitter. Now all I want is decent shooting percentages and professionalism.

He went to the practice, that's a good start. Now to see if he can adjust to the new playing style of the Rockets.

Lee actually had alot of nice words to say about Twill when they asked him about the trade, definitely no beef there. Can't wait to see him play on this team, especially after he told Clutch he sees himself as more of a point guard than SG or SF.

Two remarks stood out to me:

    1. The comment about being able to "think out there instead of running a set play". That's the Adelman mindset. Adelman teaches them how to think and make good decisions. And TWill likes to think and make plays.

    2. The comment about liking to get the assist and him feeling more like a point guard. Ideally, Adelman wants 5 guys with the mentality and ability to make the pass for the assist. This dude already has that mentality.

I actually was hoping he would talk like he does on twitter. He would be my favorite player.

Those were the two remarks that stood out to me, plus his use of the word, emulate.

Make that three. Emulate Shane defensively.

lol at all the comments saying he sounds smarter than on twitter.

I think ya'll are missing the point of twitter. But anyways I was really impressed that he wants to emulate Shane/ learn from him. His athleticism + half of Shane's smarts = ridiculously good defender.

Also, he instantly has the biggest lips on the team.

The other possibility is that Lee had some negative things to say, and Williams didn't want those things to become his viewpoint heading into a new situation.

I feel kind of relieved after seeing this. Where are those judgmental suckers who called him stupid? It looks like defense is not the only thing at what he can try to emulate Battier.

It's not about the words Fonz, it's what he meant with them. ;)
