he has played well with the Kings, how far do you think T-Will will progress in his skill by next year? im thinking he can be a 15 pt, 5 assist, 5 reb per game kind of guy. in other words, a mini-Lebron.
I bet he'll be the same player next year as this year. The key for T-Will is signing with a sorry team so he can get playing time in garbage games that nobody cares about.
Its the 47% shooting percentage (as of now) thats the bright point of his Kings play. Though is he gonna be like Marcus Thornton, or Jermaine Taylor. He's got high all around athletic talent for his position, though his position is just a dime a dozen. There's Shannon Brown/Dahtnay Jones types a'plenty.
The question isn't can he put up those numbers...give him almost 40 mins a game and he'll put those up for sure. The question is, will they lead to help the team win? The timing of all those stats will decide that.
Didn't he get 21 points or so when the Rockets played the Kings shortly after letting him go. Nobody seemed to talk about it much or did I miss something?
http://www.sacbee.com/2012/04/20/4428861/newcomer-who-prefers-to-pass-grows.html#mi_rss=Kings/NBA Glad to finally hear some coaches praising him. Great insight into T-Will background as well, I dint know any of it. Sounds like he had a pretty tough childhood. He could have joined a gang or started dealing SO I give him full props for completing his bachelors and being lottery talent at the same time. Thats not an easy accomplishment at all. I honestly hope he has a long successful career in the NBA. I think T-Will and Jimmer of the bench is a good combo for the Kings. He eases pressure of Jimmer to make plays while Jimmer can go on about scoring. I wouldnt mind seeing more T-Will woth Cousins as well. Cousins might get better looks.
I think this is why Twill had such a big problem with Adelman...He spent a lot of time next to Pitino and was probably used to seeing a coach as a father figure...he comes here and the "father" won't even talk to him. Looks like he eased up with McHale, but i think the damage was done/felt.
Lebron is shooting 53% from the field and Williams is shooting 42%. So more like Lebron with down syndrome
It is on clutch fans. He had to be compared to some future Hall of famer or all-star to make him seem much better than he really is.
