i know what youre talking about on the pregame show, that video was awhile back like a couple months, but i remember him saying when he heard about the cookout and it was a 1 on 1 he said "what? thats my thing. thats my game."
I was thinking about your post. And I didn't get that initially about T-will. And then some fan says they yelled at Coach and T-Will did the xnay sign. ANd that made me think he knows he's in the doghouse and he's probably in the doghouse because he doesn't take criticism so well. This is all speculation but I could see T-Will and Adelman at practice... Adelman: Son if you're not open just pass it to the next guy. You don't have to make a spectacular play every time you have the ball. T-Will: Yeah coach but when I was in high school and college this is the way I played. Adelman: Yeah son well you ain't wearing diapers no more so you got to quit ****tin in your shorts. T-Will: Eff this ****. I don't need this. I know how to play the game. Adelman: You know what son go take a shower. Adelman turns to Turner: When will these kids learn I'm trying to help him. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity with a clock on it. He has the talent to be good. But his brains are getting in the way.
"This guy wants me to fail buttttt I'll kill him with being kind an cheering on my team mates while he ain't looking I'm working #wordaapp" his twitter ^
i have to agree with this, rick is an hall of fame coach, and has coached young raw talent before i.e. kevin martin and look how he turned out, so i hope twill can buckle down and put more heart into the game.
i was sitting right behind the bench today, i distinctly remember a couple of the assistant coaches and players talking to him as he left the bench. they were nodding he was smiling, i really don't think this incident reflects upon his attitude. there was no maliciousness to it, the mood seemed amicable, he probably had to take care of something in the locker room. plus, he was avidly cheering on his teammates throughout the second half. yeah, his attitude is sub-par, and his understanding of the offense even worse, but just out of fairness to t-will, i want to clear up that there was no way one could interpret this incident as indicative of anything negative about t-will.
Basically he needs to just ride the season out and stay on good terms with management. He knows the Rick is most likely not be here next season. And if he is he knows he will either be traded or playing. Most of his cheering is for show but he does already have abond with the players and the Team I admitt that he is very childish and truly needs to humble himself, but he is young, he has lived a Golden boy life, high school, college, nba draft. But him riding the bench is the type of experiences that he needs to be able to mature. Everyone has their own individual thought and ideas, you guys shouldn't be so quick to judge someone you know nothing about
This is like Bouncy Whales with Jeff Van Gundy. He never got PT with him but Adelman gave him a chance cause he coached him in Sac-Town. Or like Von Wafer, Tim Hardaway...
99 times when there's a battle between you and "the man", the man wins, that 1 time out of 100, involves guns.
