Poor kid run out of another city in less than a year. Hope he finds someone to take him in. I mean not here, because he's terrible at basketball, but somewhere.

It's not forsaking, Jones is on a min contract. He would be stuck on the bench for the rest of the season. Pelican gibing him a chance to catch up with someone that can give him playing time, and get a contract next season. Much like Maury did for Brooks a few years back when he sent him to a team that AB could get playing time at.
