If you won't offer him 3.5 mil for fear that he'd accept it, what kind of offer are you expecting the Rockets to make?
Another "asset" we lost for nothing. I was exceedingly high on him, but he never developed into a consistent player, poor court awareness and defense. I thought it was a mistake to hold onto both him and DMo as long as we did; we needed to make a commitment to one of them. it slowed their development I think. Rooting for him to get a fresh start somewhere and succeed.
Young fella did it to himself. This was a contract year and he decided to play like **** as well get out the good graces with the coaches. And to top it off you can't have beef with the untouchable one and think they will resign you.
I am not at all sad about this. Hope he finds himself with someone else, but watching him play since his nerve injury was agonizing.
Must admit I'm a little disappointed. Sure he played poorly the past season, but he's still young and I'd give him some latitude given his bizarre injuries. Although some posts suggest his attitude was the problem. And if that's true, then BYE BYE! Don't want none of that. If attitude isn't the problem, then I'd throw him $3mill to have him on the bench.
This kinda sux, I was a fan of Terrance over the years but this past year he really struggled to get it going. I hope he can turn it around, if he had a decent jump shot and IQ he wouldnt be going anywhere.
He's going to have a solid career if he can stay healthy. He was coming into his own after the nerve thing but the injuries just piled up. Once he gets coordinated he's going to be a force. Pelicans have interest, him playing with Davis would definitely make life easier for Jones but he's gotta stay on the court. I wish him the best, I was getting league pass again this year regardless so I'll watch him play where he is next season. I think he's ridiculously talented, it just sucks it didn't work out for him here.
Yep he was all set to cash in on a major contract which was perfect timing with the cap increase. He'll still get overpaid but in all seriousness someone could have thrown a max deal his way.
