So you believe that T.O. took a lot of painkillers (dozens reportedly), got rushed to the ER, and had his stomach pumped for attention? You say that TO wouldn't give the Cowboys the means to get rid of him, but IMO, overdosing on painkillers for the fun of it is worst than being suicidal. I don't think we'll ever know what exactly happened. I know TO is about as egotistical as they come, but I don't think he would even do something like this.

OK for the last time: there was no suicide attempt! T.O. did not get his stomach pumped because this never happened. This is all the media's fault. It was the evil media that blew the police report (the initial report not the "revised" one) out of proportion. Poor T.O. was "disoriented" and "groggy" and did not understand what "did you mean to harm yourself" meant when questioned by the DPD (after all he does love him some me...). He also was so "sick" that he did not know how many pills he'd taken. His publicist did not tell DPD that he was depressed - she mistook an allergic reaction to supplements for a suicide attempt (this happens all the time at my house!). T.O. has stated in his press conference that he "don't know nuthin' about nuthin'". But he still "loves him some me"... It's just unfortunate that poor T.O. is exploited and taken advantage off by the lies of the media and the Dallas Police Dept. Any ancillary publicity that is derived from this event is purely coincidental and should no way be construed as beneficial to T.O. or his ego...
I work with a guy who went to UT-Chattanooga at the same time that Owens did and he even had a class with him. He told me that Owens was nowhere as ripped as he is now and he was very quiet - not this boisterious and obnoxious "TO" that we all know and love to hate. My boss and me were talking about it and we both think that Owens may be on steroids and these antics of his are because of roid rage. Just a theory.
Nah. He does multiple small weight reps... But if there is any roidage, I'm sure we'll soon know. I'll bet his press conference "too many [supplements] to list" raised some eyebrows somewhere.

^That link was last night. I told ya' that this would be the story once it was over. I have no reason to doubt that T.O. did not take "35 pills" of ANYTHING and then less than 18 hours later was running sprints and playing catch... No one can take 35 pills and be released from the hospital. I do NOT however believe that his publicist was totally truthful today. I think the whole suicide angle was her doing... right or wrong on her part, she is stupid if she thinks that the police (who are sworn to report it as they see it while on duty) are putting words in her mouth for some reason of "taking advantage" of T.O. She is an idiot for taking the public for idiots. She was right to call 911 IMO, but not right to assume that he'd popped pills in order to harm himself, or out of depression... but again, I could see that being a simple case of addition. T.O. groggy/non-responsive + empty pill bottle = Suicide attempt? Maybe... I'll give her that.... Then why not just come out and say, "I made an inaccurate judgement of the situation based on the limited information I had at the moment. Anyone would have madde the same deduction given the society we live in." Wouldn't that be only the right thing to do? What she's doing, IMO, is trying to count on T.O. really not remembering the evening... if she can change her story enough, and do it in front of the press, maybe she won't lose her job with T.O... As time goes on, he may remember more, and then he may remember that SHE was the one suggesting all of the suicide theories, ad the one making the "depressed" statements on his behalf. She was the only one hinting at his wealth today ("has 25 million reasons to live") and she's surely trying to make some of that her own through this. She bragged more about herself calling 911 than she did anything today. She's also illiterate... "A man of his statue..." What? It's 'stature' miss thang.
