Yeah they want him on the team but they don't agree with the way he is acting, even Trotter said he didn't agree with the things he does and says. It has been made known that there are people who want him there but one person does not make the team, especially in football.
I wouldn't say "rescued", more like "exploited the situation". Baltimore was one of TO's desired places, and a heck of lot better than SF. They had most of their players from their superbowl team, had one of the best defenses in the league, and looking for an offensive spark. However Phily was TO's #1 destination. TO, Phily and the league (maybe the players association) jacked around Baltimore. Phily ended up getting TO for a lot less in terms of contract and compensation in picks/players than they would have in the open market, they did take advantage of the sitation. TO and Phily both got what they deserved. I love it. I am sure lots of players are saying TO gives it all on the field, so who cares about the rest.
