It has come full circle: Perry was on 90210 -> Perry was in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the movie) Joss Whedon made Buffy the Vampire Slayer -> Joss Whedon made Firefly Summer Glau was on Firefly -> Summer Glau is on the Sarah Conner Chronicles Brian Austin Green is on the Sarah Conner Chronicles -> Brian Austin Green was on 90210
For those watching, my new theory is that the terminator chick was given the mission to "become human". I think it explains a lot.
I'm not sure it explains why she kept the chip, though. I think that she was in the basement of that house where the other Reese brother was kept. That's maybe why he is so leery of her (beyond the normal 'she's a machine' stuff). Also, really liked this episode. The tie ins to T2 and the ending were very cool. Hopefully the show sticks around to hash out all the plot points they are putting in.
good point. That seemed so obvious at the time that I thought it must have been a plot hook meant to throw you off. Now I'm beginning to think it might be right again.
Though I would like to see where the 'more human' angle ends up though. They are clearly pushing that and I think there might be a specific reason.
It was amazing watching her leave those Russians to die like the cold ruthless machine that she is, and then do the ballet dance to almost human perfection. This show rocks.
The timeline got screwed up again. This show is supposed to by-pass T3 because T3 messed up the timeline. Last nights show just screwed up the timeline from T2. When Sarah tells John that the tape he watched was from June 8 1997 just before they broke her out of the hospital. T2 clearly states that it happened in 1995 and that Judgement Day is August 29 1997. John was 10 in T2 and is supposed to be 14 in this show. When they did the time travel it was in 1999. The age works out but they messed it all up with last nights show.
^ Yeah, i've noticed this too, but tried not to get hung up on it...I think they just did a half ass job of trying to meld the storyline with the movies... Hell, this show just started in January and it's going to be over this coming Monday..WTF is up with that...Its not the greatest show, but enjoyable...I really really like her doing the ballerina stuff...mmm....
I read somewhere that it was originally suppose to be a summer show (which typically has only 8-10 eps), but because of the writers striker, it got moved up. Anyways, I hope it comes back next season... the latest ratings were not good. This show needs Prison Break.
I think it is, unfortunately, the kind of show that is also hard to come in and pick up on later. I've noticed they've tried to give a more informative 'story so far...' beginning, but still. Considering the show has improved considerably since the first couple of episodes it's probably hard to have folks just jump back on.
Ok, so it was a short but fairly entertaining season...Yeah, they didn't do the timeline via movie to tv well, and it was pretty predictable, but one of the few shows that I enjoyed watching.... The 2 hour season finale was kind of lame, especially how it ended, but again, I'd watch another season of it as I know the writers can/should do so much more...
Tru Calling went over there, but they never shot any new episodes (sadly...I thought that show was decent too...and it had Eliza Dushku)
Keep in mind that wasn't originally intended to be the finale. For what it was, I thought those were decent episodes. I hope the show continues.
