Im a HUGE Terminator fan & will be watching this show. I thought the first one was pretty good upset the bulit proof recliner as many have allready stated.
River is looking pretty derned cute. I guess it has been 5+ years since Firefly. Wow. They do a lot of going into an empty garage after each confrontation. Same music even. The production staff probably thought it was necessary to establish a comfort level with the viewer? I'm more excited to see what they do differently myself. They need to play against the Arnold-type with the bad Terminators eventually. That guys "pursuit face" was so comically intense. Arnold was calm and collected and never looked like he was about to yell "RARRR". Unlike what we're led to assume about Summer Glau's character, Terminators don't have emotions. Does anyone else get excited about the prospect of Robert Patrick (T-1000, X-Files) making a season finale-type run on the show as another T-1000 model? It seems like he's relegated himself to TV only work. He should be available, right? That would get them their ratings. SPOILER!!! Wouldn't they have left a "not really" nuclear weapon and a time machine in 1999 at the bank? Wouldn't that alter the future? The big pieces of Terminator lying around? Did they set a bomb to cover their tracks and I just missed it?
I missed it, but I have it DVRd, I'll watch it later. Speaking of Summer Glau, I always thought she was cute, but then I got the newest issue of Entertainment Weekly and in the pics for a story about the show she's wearing a form fitting top and a tight miniskirt with cowboy boots. Freaking hot
River does look good. She's 26 now...late bloomer, I guess. Where did you hear about Robert Patrick reprising his role...or is that just internet speculation? Would be really cool. I thought the same thing about all of the junk they left lying around. They said that it had kevlar...but not why. Pretty random thing to put kevlar into, even for Sarah Connor.
Summer is really looking pretty hot that's for sure. I assumed that Sarah Connor had gotten to the point to were she'd try and think of every possible scenario. So if a Terminator had found them at their home, she'd need quick and reliable cover, hence putting kevlar in furniture
I suppose...but it's still pretty thin. Maybe if they develop her character to be uber-ingenious I'll buy it.
Well.... it was a tad ridiculous. But we are talking about a story based on the premise that super-smart/strong machines with a hyper-violent AI from the future are being sent back in time to eliminate future human leaders. Ridiculous is relative.
I don't see why this is so hard for people to understand. She's already fought off what, three Terminators? Making reliable cover in your home look inconspicuous when machines from the future are constantly time traveling to kill your savior son is a veteren move.
good lord... I don't know if Arnold can pull it off anymore.. certaintly the writers and director couldn't.. in T3.. Saw it last night on FX.. and i couldn't have been more disappointed.. poor acting.. poor story.. poor direction.. poor direction.. and the gags were dreadful.. seemed like the creators were intentionally mocking their own creation throughout.. and after re-living the good ole days of T2 the week before on HBO too.. And how more obsolete can Arnold's T1000 model get before they wrap it up for good..? His defeat in T3 was embarrassing and pitiful.. Actually he looked useless from beginning to end in that movie..
I understood the list of names of Christian Bale etc in the wiki link to be the cast.. Arnold's name is among them.
tonight's episode was boring as hell, but this is something that I would watch if there is nothing else to do.
