It's about robots, and the future. The very two things that will kill us all. It's also about synergy with upcoming McG movie projects. And it's about cancellation, which the show refers to as "terminating." As in, "What happened to Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles? That show with the interesting plot twists, that wasn't afraid to kill off main characters left and right?" "You mean, wasn't afraid to terminate main characters left and right?" "Yeah, that's what I meant." "It got terminated by Fox." "Oh."
I just caught up and WTF!!! Great episodes. I've been wondering where all of this was leading to and I still don't have an idea. Nothing clear cut anyway but damn everyone dropping like flies! What a WTF way for BAG to go. I think Jessie might still be alive unless I missed something. I think that scene about the sight being off on the gun might have something to do with it? Dunno but it seemed like foreshadowing.
I know man, it was out of now where, the BAG death. Seems like anyone who has a wang and isn't named john conner is screwed, wouldn't be surprised to see Ellison get knocked off in the finale.
At this point if I'm john conner I start to think, what's the use in living if there is no one to live for? Everyone I care about is dying and now my mother is caught and will end up dying also. I'm really curious bout this alliance between man and machine and what would have happened had they delivered the liquid terminator to John.
A friend mine brought up an interesting theory about Weaver, that maybe she's on Conner's side. Perhaps the liquid terminator had a change of heart so to speak, he was mainly basing it off some of comments Weaver made in the last episode.
Yep. If this ties into the movie, it's a pretty good ending to the show (assuming that's the series finale).
Here's a question: will we know the new FOX fall schedule and if TSC Chronicles makes it to season 3 before or after the new Terminator movie comes out? You would think that the Suits at FOX would guage how the movie does first, right?
It's amazing how much improvement this show has had. That finale was great. I hope that it makes it through to a third season, but it would be quite a surprise if it does. Now, anyone want to try and work out what the hell that ending will mean?
Just finished watching. Wow, what an ending. - So Weaver *is* on John's side, and there was a proxy war of sorts being fought between two rival machine factions. Did anyone catch the liquid terminator blob merging into Weaver?
I don't think she is on anybody's side. Its probably a enemy of my enemy is my friend sort of thing. Weaver has to be the same terminator that was on the submarine and she\it said it wouldn't join John's side. It makes you wonder why she was locked up inside that box to begin with, maybe she was always a threat to skynet.
That was her eel that she kept in the fish tank that broke. Spoiler To me, best part of the ending was Cameron kneeling besides the dogs and petting them. This meant that she was the real, human Cameron. John has lusted after cyborg Cameron since he met her, now he gets a chance to act on it.
Still officially a rumor but this show is probably cancelled.. I'm disappointed as I really enjoyed the show and, as mentioned earlier in this thread, it was really starting to take off.
Spoiler You mean Allison from Palmdale. And that scene where she strips and has him get on top of her ... whoa. I kept wondering if she felt him getting aroused and chose not to say anything. I suspect the performance of Terminator: Salvation at the box office will go a long way in determining whether TSCC gets a season 3, and it probably has to be better than "good". Yeah that's kind of what I meant. It seems to me that there is a more advanced/evolved machine faction, led by Weaver, that now believes that alliance with the human race rather than extermination is the best chance for long-term survival. I'm not sure that the "no" answer back in the future episode was intended for John -- I think it may have been intended for Cameron. Either way there was a change of heart that happened somewhere. Maybe we'll get answers in Salvation.
