Tyreke/Thorton dish out 3 assists in 78 minutes

    [edit] meant Thornton not Thomspon.

    http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=311229023

2 for Evans in 38 minutes
    1 for Thornton 40 minutes

Oh, and Fredette equaled their combined total assists in 24 minutes.

Kings will have to decide this year whether their SG at PG experiment is working or not, while the trade value is still at its peak. see Steve Francis.

Steve Francis could dish the ball ten thousand times better than Tyreke.

In fact, it seemed to me that Steve spent far to much time dishing in the first 3 quarters than shooting. He would literally not shoot until the 4th quarter, then quickly drop 20.

Steve's problem was that he wouldn't make the simple pass. He had homerun passitis...

Unlike Tyreke, Steve could also shoot...

I was tryna figure out what Jason Thompson had to do with anything.. But I realized you meant Marcus Thornton

not arguing. Who says SGs can't dish. Remember, Tyreke was only the 4th rookie ever to average 20/5/5. The point about Francis is that pairing him with Mobley was a failed experiment. Pairing Tyreke and and Thornton is a similar experiment.

I question whether Tyreke is good for Cousins or not. I would be looking to trade him to get someone who can help Cousins reach his potential. Like we did with Francis for TMac to help maximize Yao.

    And they wanted Aaron Brooks.

That would have been hilarious to watch.

Really? I always thought Francis' biggest problem is that he never actually studied how to play the pg position, or how offenses are supposed to work. IMHO Francis always pounded the ball for 20 secs before doing something not because he was selfish, but because he doesn't know any other way to "playmake" for his team other than dribble around and look for openings.

they run so little offense it's pathetic... I miss Adelman's offense so badly it's not even funny. The whole team had 13 assists for the whole game... I think Chuck and Jimmer each had 3... so there is nearly half.

Even though I wanted the Bulls to win, it was painful watching the Kings offense last night. Reke and Thornton are so selfish it's a joke. Problem is, they have a weakfish coach that won't make them play any differently. Several times Jimmer was wide open on the 3-point line but those two guys have tunnel vision and will only pass it to him out of desperation.

LOL. Brooks at point, Tyreke at the 2, and Thorton at the 3. They'd be so small, it would be ridiculous.

Stevie loved dribbling more than he did either shooting or dishing. :)

Yeah, it was pretty frustrating to watch. Tyreke was selfish as hell last night. The thing is, the players really don't know what their roles are. We need a new coach. Westpaul can't figure out a solid rotation or an offense.

You're right, they're going nowhere but to the lottery with Reke at the point. However, dude is a very good mid range shooter. But you can't win like that.

The only thing he liked more than dribbling was throwing lobs to Kelvin Cato.
