"Israel deserves to live as a free and safe nation. Our neighbors deserve the same."

Yes to both, though the way I'd phrase is it is the Israeli and Palestinian people deserve to live freely and safely. "Deserving to live" is a meaningful phrase for people, not nations.

Her take is appropriate and expected. She is Israeli. If she really thought that Israel was the bad guy she would have just moved back to where her family emigrated from. Instead she is an IDF trained Israeli super model and subpar actress.

    From Wiki:
Gadot's maternal grandparents were born in 20th-century Europe; her grandfather, who was imprisoned in the Auschwitz concentration camp during the German occupation of Czechoslovakia, survived the Holocaust, while her grandmother managed to escape the continent before the outbreak of World War II hostilities.[22][23][24] She has stated that she was brought up in a "very Jewish, Israelifamily environment",[19] and is of Ashkenazi Jewish[5] descent (Polish-Jewish, Austrian-Jewish, German-Jewish, and Czech-Jewish)

I would not be mad at Yao Ming for saying China is the best and America is bad. Lebron on the other hand. F him.

It would help open the door to a resolution but at the end of the day it's still a land dispute where somebody is going to feel shafted.

Can anyone who reads Hebrew or have friends in Israel verify this stuff is real? I am trying to follow what’s going on but details in English media are scarce beyond reporting of “x number of rockets by Hamas, x missiles launched in retaliation by IDF”. At the same time, Twitter users as an on the ground source is going to be rife with propaganda like we always see with coverage of antifa riots.

spoiler in case it auto plays

If only Kushner/Trump built a Disney Land on the temple mount, none of this would be happening now...

From what I can tell, this peaked yesterday. Bibi will see a bump in the polls, Hamas will call for a cease-fire because they are out of rockets and they will look like heroes for attacking big mean Israel, and everything will be status quo which is pretty bad for your regular Palestinian, OK for your regular Israeli, and fantastic for the religious extremists of Israel.

Even in the world of contentment how could you think "long standing tensions" went away?

One of the reasons that the Euro Jews should have decided to immigrate to America or perhaps Argentina, which iirc was another place they were thinking of instead of Palestine. Would have instead of ethnically cleansing Palestinians.
Such a nice human touch, bro ala our mainsteam news with the friend's family being humanized. It is easy to pretend that Palestinias are essentially terrorist non humans (sort of Hitlerian) rather than people responding to being ethnically cleansed daily or killed at roughly 100 to one by their occupiers.

Try Al Jazeera which will probably be more objective or at least give another side than much of the Hebrew press. There is of course a 10-20% perhaps of powerless Israelis who can see the issue from a perspective outside of justifying Apartheid.
Actually twitter will probably be the most objective with both sides and not influenced so much by who has the most money to publish.

We'll see. Or it'll embolden 61 members of the Knesset to finally form a government without Netanyahu just to get rid of him because they know that these events might help Likud in the next election. Right now Yesh Atid has the mandate to try and form a government since Netanyahu already failed with his opportunity.

Both left and right wing parties stand to lose in this scenario. The Haredi parties largely have fixed bases so they should be fine but there are multiple right wing parties that could be cannibalized by Likud so they have an incentive to form a government with the left to prevent Netanyahu from regaining power. All they have to do is pass a law barring anyone under investigation (or convicted) from serving in the Knesset which should remove Netanyahu from the equation.

How do you think the Palestinians should handle being evicted to make room for more Jewish Settlers? I am not suggesting it is good for them to attack Israel. I'm asking what you think they should do?

Samuel Adams be disappointed. Only white people can have causes that merit not peaceful protests. Damn non-white people, when will they learn?
