I was really impressed with Djokovic all tournament long. His defense has been amazing and his ability to slide all over the hard court is unreal. Very disappointed in Murray's performance. He has dropped all nine sets in his three GS finals appearances and you have to start to question if he is mentally strong enough to win one. Will this finally be the year that Federer is shut out of a GS title?

Interesting topic whether or not Federer will win a major this year. If Nadal is even remotely healthy, you have to assume that he'll be the prohibitive favorite at the French. Beyond Nadal, there are other guys you might pick ahead of Federer on the clay, including big counter-punchers like David Ferrer.

Wimbledon is Federer's best major, but the grass there allows others like Roddick and Soderling to challenge Fed more than they normally would.

I don't see any reason to believe that the US Open will play out any different than the Aussie did. Obviously Nadal has shown he can win on the New York hardcourts by winning it last year. Djokovic made the final last year and plays well on hardcourts as we have seen at the Aussie. The wildcard might be Juan Martin del Potro. He is still recovering from the severe wrist injury that knocked him out of the 2010 season almost completely, but by September, he'll probably close to 100%. He won the US Open in 2009.

Federer needs to pull a Agassi and start hitting the weights.

Fed will win Wimbledon and I think he will at least be in the semis to challenge at the US Open.

Nadal has to get healthy to do anything.

Djokovic doesn't have the mental fortitude to hang all season long. He will fall out early at Wimbledon and the French.

Murray... not much to say here. The guy just doesn't have "it" unfortunately.

Same goes for Roddick. Still, his match against Fed in the finals at Wimbledon will be one of the greatest of all time.

The question is, does he still want it? the only thing that will stop him is his 'will'. he can come back if he wants to... but that means more practice and less time with his baby.

I came very close to staying up and watching the men's final (did a couple of years ago when it was Roger and Rafa), but I decided to tape it instead. When I saw how Novak dominated Murray, I wound up not even watching it.

I would love to see if Djokivic (sp?) can go on and win the French in June followed by Wimbledon and then the US Open. Isn't it still that Rod Laver was the last person to win all 4 majors in a calendar year?
