I to break this to you, but Fox News is watched by millions of people. Like it or not, its a national news network. You can bark and whine about not agreeing with them. I don't agree with NBC News and a bunch of other news outlets, but they have a right to cover things just as much as Fox News does.

Thank you, fair and balanced. It's stupid for people to say, "well they lie more than all others, cry, waaaa", when at best it's debatable.

They didn't make up Van Jones, but they exposed him. They slant right a wee bit....MSNBC slants left.

At the end of the day, they are a collective institution. They have decided the institution is GREATER than a a collective ideology to be imposed and this was telling...What is the White House gonna do now? Freeze out everyone for further retribution.

No this is pure stupid from the White House. It does not serve them them on propaganda. It does not serve them on truth, but it might help hide more Van Jones.

What can you do to protect more czars?..like Van Jones? What can you do to help protect all the President's men?...Very early 1970-ish indeed...

It's not about slant. They lie. MSNBC doesn't.

please provide proof of msnbc flat-out lying and also show proof of your outrage at the bush admin for doing the same thing. just because obama let glenn beck win one round with the van jones thing doesn't prove that fox doesn't lie.

until then, you and your other whack jobs that watch fox news have no ground to stand on.

Access Hollywood has more viewers than most Fox News programs. Should Access Hollywood get access to the White House? Yes or No?

Flat out lying involves editing to hide information after the fact right?...This is just one example of probably tens of thousands. It goes on and on and where there is this there is no doubt other like it... Of course we know if it meant protecting further czars...such as Van Jones, you'd argue the sky is really red and not blue as implied. You are a good boy towards the political collective ideology...

But I don't work that angle. I see gray, the way the world really is. I love trees and guns.

Fox's John Stossel To Rally Against Health Care Reform

John Stossel of Fox News will join a conservative activist group for rallies designed to build opposition to health-care reform.

Americans For Prosperity (AFP) has announced that Stossel, a "renowned health care reporter and analyst," will participate in three "Health Care Town Halls," starting next week in Arkansas.

    hum.....

This is a brilliant strategic move by Obama that he pulled from the FOX/GOP's own playbook: repeat something often enough and it will gain traction.

Doesn't matter if it's true or not.

i dont think people are pointing that out in 'defense' of him, but as a criticism. obama has continued many of bush's polices and in some cases even expanded them (warrantless wiretapping, for example). and i think many who voted for him are having buyers remorse because of it.

    thank you!

republicans and conservatives had absolutely no problem with that, but now its ok to bring guns to obama appearances. can you just imagine if someone had done that to bush? especially in light of the fact that people did get arrested for just wearing anti-bush t-shirts.

I agree. Let the idiot back in the conferences and then seldom call him. Obama and the Dems need to go on the offensive against Fox.

If they would change the title of the station to Fox Opinion Channel I would have less problems with it.

Don't forget Scott McClellan, Dubya's press secretary, who has said that every morning they gave Fox "News" the talking points of the day.

The other day at the bank they had Fox on and I pointed out to the assistant manager who was at the teller window how objectional it is to show it. I urge everyone to do the same whenever you see it in a public place.

That is the problem though, due to Fox News over the top spiel, all the other cable networks have copied them to an extent in a race to the bottom.

What channel could they turn it to?

CNN, confoundingly Lou Dobbs, who is basically big fat lying racist, among others. I was laughing at their "Soledad O'Brien/Latinos in America" week, then ****** windbag birther nutcase Dobbs would come on and repeat the same xenophobic garbage about swine flu and illegal aliens.

CNBC sits around and PRAYS for the markets to tank, which allows them to air idiots like Santelli and Kudlow for their big hitter shows (its actually true, CNBC's ratings are in the crapper on good days),

MSNBC then went the other way and has Olberman down in the muck engaging in pissing matches with Bill O'Reilly all the time - it's just a sea of crap.

Bloomberg i guess is one of the few networks without a ridiculous sideshow slant.

Good point. The freedom of the press angle bothers me, but they really are not like the other news reporters.
