This was always one of the best scenes but after watching this season so far, it definitely shows how far Mr.Draper has fallen.

I don't get this Don Draper has fallen thing.

Looks to me like he's once again realizing his wife is super hot. Both of them.

OK, so he was a dork on Meth. But, I can get over that.

So anyone see the latest episode?

A lot of inner office politics for sure.

What an interesting image to end the episode too.

I'm still SMH at Don + hash = hallucinations + falling in the pool. Same for Pete's meltdown over Joan. Poor Don and Pete are nosediving.

The Peggy & Joan dialogue and dynamic were totally awesome. Very well done.

I thought the two Roger & Danny sequences seemed forced. It's like the writers first dreamed up the "punch" and then created events leading up to it.

It's clear the Bob character will have an increased role next season. I have no clue what his purpose is yet but he definitely will have one in the future.

I think the final scene caught everyone by surprise.

show is reaching, and has run its course. not to mention jumping the shark by finding the most gimmicky, implausible way ever to bring peggy back into the company. next season is a good time to end it.

"who is the overlooked and under-appreciated employee now?" storyline is played out, as is "who will don philander with next?".

I feel like Vincent Kartheiser (the actor who plays Pete) should get more recognition. He plays just about the most unlikable character on the show, but my favorite scenes are the usually the one's he's in.

I like that they merged into Sterling Cooper & Partners and now have the opportunity to real in the big fish. I really like the ad agency part of the show and wish they would focus more on it.

So was that actually legal and common or did they just allow it out in the open?

I always felt advertising was the show's backdrop, but not really what the show's about. Sort of like Friday Night Lights, with football being the backdrop but not really being about football. I think if they turn this into an ad show, it's going to nosedive quicker than it already seems to be.

Not sure if Swoly watches the show and will read this post, so I'll go ahead and say it:

    That's what she said

Agreed, but I did laugh at the Roger and Danny sequences...the last two episodes have been my favorites so far, the inter-office politics, US politics, etc...Don being Don and Betty, she's back...

Not sure what you mean by the show is nosediving? I would still take this season over any other show on television besides possibly Game of Thrones, and considering the last show on game of thrones i'm not so sure i'm interested in watching any longer.

Think about that scene at the camp when he visited his son. Look at how Betty owned him and basically used him for intercourse. It was as if the roles had completely switched. She was the one callin the shots....and had draper in the palm of her hands.

In addition he just isn't as focused at work. For the first time you are seeing his insecurities at work when he needs approval or validation from people like Peggy. Earlier in the seasons do you think Draper would ever need Peggy to validate his work?

These are just a few examples. I can name many more.....

    Huh?

    Breaking Bad says hello.

And if the last episode of GoT made you not want to renew your HBO subscription then you don't understand or appreciate a good show imo.

It is all subjective. Mad Men as far as I am concerned is the best television series of this generation. Game of Thrones is also highly entertaining but they keep killing off all of my favorite characters. As far as breaking bad u are on ur own on that one.....

Please don't talk about the most recent GoT episode in this thread without spoilers. Some of us watch it mid week

As for best shows, SOA is high on list
