i had always heard the name eliza dushku and everyone talking about how hot she was, but i had never seen her in anything so i didn't really know who she was. and then in the last few minutes of my sarah connor chronicles recording dollhouse started and she was sitting there all ragged and i was like holy crap, that's dana from true lies. i've watched that movie plenty of times and probably been to the imdb page a few times and had never known that was eliza dushku.

Saw it last nite, it was eh, not great but I still like the premise. I've give it a few more episodes to see if it gets its legs

It's a shame that a premise so intriguing falls completely apart on execution. This show is borderline horrible.

I would completely disagree with that. Last nights show was awesome. The first episode was just solid. The preview for next weeks episode looked meh, but it'll probly end up better than I'm expecting.

One thing about Joss Wheden is that he likes to let his stories develop. Firefly was ruined by Fox because they wanted immediate action so they aired the second or third episode first thinking the first episode was too slow for a series premier. Of course, it just threw you in without a clue who anyone was.

With Dollhouse, it looks like he tried to cater to Fox somewhat by shortchanging the character development in the first episode in exchange for that hostage drama. Much more character development in the second episode.

My biggest concern for the show was that there weren't going to be any good characters. After the first show, Echo seemed to be the only interesting character and she's gonna change each week! None of the others looked worthwhile. This week, they really made an effort to introduce the other players. If they are written and performed well the show could really be good.

I enjoyed last nights episode and, Eliza has really nice curves.

Just watched it on DVR and I thought the second episode was much better. While I'm still not sold on the series I'm still willing to give it a shot. It has potential.

Anybody still watching this? Thought it started coming into it's own with that last episode. Best so far.

Yep, if only Joss Whedon wrote all the episodes.

I watch it every Saturday on hulu :D

Although the show isn't anything groundbreaking, it's cool and the unfolding storyline of how deep 'Dollhouse' is rooted in the society is intriguing... like the 'sweet girl next door', whats-her-name was able to remote activate an 'active', which I didn't think was possible, recalling previous episode where Echo was 'washed(?)' via cellphone static.

... yes, Echo is hawt...

The first 5 eps were meh. They were hyping episode 6 so much I thought it couldn't be THAT good.

It lived up to the hype. I just hope it's not too late.

I agree this last episode was excellent, even the wife enjoyed it and she's been pretty blah about the show since we started watching, we'll see if they can keep it up.

I am still watching and enjoying it. I agree the pilot was a let down, but each episode since gets better.

Series has been interesting and it's getting better and better.

    You're definitely right on that.

I watched an one of the last couple episodes and thought it was pretty good. I'll probably tune in occasionally.

Somebody let me know when Eliza Dushku does an episode with a naughty sex scene or half-naked or something, and I'll tune in for that one.

Until then, I'm too busy. :)

This is by far Whedon's weakest show at this point. Having said that, it is better than most television and I will continue to watch it. I wish the dialog was a bit more Whedonesqe, but the action is good, it is nice to have Eliza back (my celebrity crush since she started playing Faith when she was 18 and I was 19), and the premise is pretty cool. Best character outside of Echo, IMO, is the guy that does the wipes/implants.
