What is scary is that in coming years, this picture and your words may become true as we lose our economic and personal freedom -- a picture that is worth more than a thousand words.

BTW, wingnuts are very important in keeping machinery together. Please choose a better slur for extremists of the far left and far right.

You’re right basso (and by that I mean you’re wrong). There was absolutely nothing to criticize about the Bushy junta.

But you let me know when Obama starts a criminal war, shreds the constitution, outs a CIA operative, eaves drops on Americans, politicizes the Justice department and spits in the face of our allies around the world. Oh and lets not forget destroying our economy.

Foas - since you evidently have been, can you please describe in your own words (not copy pasting) 1) the causes of the current recession and 2) how, precisely, and in this context, the Obama administration has "destroyed the economy" in the last two months from the state in which it was in late January 2009?

    In your own words, please.

That might be your longest, most substantive post ever in this forum. Why do you even participate if you can't discuss the topics that you allude to?

In all fairness, even CNN was talking about how Obama is more worried about his perception and image than actual work. That is why we see him on these TV Shows. Why is it that his own Treasury department has over a dozen of vacant presidential appointments? You would think in this crisis he would be filling out those appointments FIRST before doing all these TV shows. He seems to be more worried about his Image and letting the Democrats handle the "real" work.

hey, you can get a nice cote du rhone for ~$10. try the perrin reserve, which is pretty widely available. of course, spending a bit more will get you a better wine.

but in the obama depression, i've discovered the joys of Crane Lake, a line of inexpensive wines from california. there's quite a nice, spicy, Petite Sirah, that my local store recently had for $3.99/bottle.

see? the market economy can work!

When Obama actually turns the economy around, what excuses will republicans use to be fearful then?
