any time i post after ima_drummer2k...i have to post some kind of rush reference cause of his quote. so, for these purposes, my goodbye is i squeeze my balls and wail a line like Geddy from a Rush song...like "if you choose not to decide (to hang up the phone), you still have made a choice". Just now...I squeezed and sang (in the highest pitch I could muster) to a co-worker on the phone the part right after the "Freewill" guitar solo where it goes: Each of us A cell of awareness Imperfect and incomplete. I suspect I won't be getting a call from that co-worker again but, rather, HR.
I twist it up from time to time. "Okay...ciao" "Na gut...Ciao" "Jo...Ciao" "Jo bis bald...Ciao" :grin:
"mmm-bye" to my immediate family. "thanks, bye" to coworkers, staff, etc. This if they're "raza" or just, overall, a friend with whom I can joke around. "bye" to all others
"talk to you later.... bye" for most situations/ friends. If I know when I'll see them it's like, "have a good weekend, see you Monday... bye" "thanks... have a good day/evening... bye" after talking with service people and "love you lots... bye" for my immediate family. hopefully I don't forget and use that on anyone else when I'm not thinking.
