    Wow. I met this guy once back in '95 when he was doing an autograph signing at the store I was running.

    A super nice guy...not at all stuck up or anything. Just very down to earth.

    Very sorry to hear this. :(

    Glad to have seen him at the Rodeo in 2007. May he RIP. My childhood revolved around tejano music.

    Saw him roughly 20 years ago when he crossed over in to country music. He put on a great show with a mix of country and tejano music. I remember he ended the show with 3 Dog Night's Joy to the World. One of the few times I can say I got my moneys worth plus a lot more.

    Good lord this sucks. Remember him and his brother doing their shuffle
    at my uncle's club back in the day. Prayers for his family. Thank you for
    all the fun and music you brought to Texas and beyond.
