Was this supposed to be some sort of insult?? Tom Savage has looked pretty damn good so far.

Interesting note about Bradford's injury... some believe Bridgewater may be ready to start playing mid season.

Between Bradford and Keenum, the Vikings QB situation looks settled already. I'll be happy for Bridgewater if he manages to come back, but he's solidly 3rd on that depth chart even if he's available.

    Continuing great story...

10/16:Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (knee) was cleared to practice by Dr. Dan Cooper on Monday, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport. Bridgewater is expected to be activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list this week or next. After a gruesome knee injury in the preseason of 2016, Bridgewater hasn't played an NFL game since late in the 2015 season. The Vikings will have three weeks to decide if they want to place him on season-ending Injured Reserve, but the team expects him to play this year. With Sam Bradford (knee) having a setback last week, it's looking more likely that Bridgewater, and not Bradford, will lead this team in the second half of the season. In the meantime, Case Keenum will continue to run the show. Bridgewater's upside is limited in 2017, but he's one to stash in deeper leagues right now if you're desperate at the QB position.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

As well as Keenum has been doing for the Vikings, it would be foolish to think that Bridgewater would end up playing at any point this season other than due to injury. I mean, even before injury Bridgwater wasn't giving the VIkings what Keenum has been giving them this season.

It was really good of Case Keenum to do such an amazing job blowing the Bengals out to where Teddy could get on the field long enough to throw an interception. It could be one of the last times he gets snaps during the regular season for his career.

teddy will land on his feet most likely in miami as a free-agent, still only 24

if he stays in minny which is what i think the league wants, you run the risk of a rg3/kirk cousins situation where the fans will side with case

teddy is done in minny, glad his contract tolled

Still obsessed with Bridgewater I see.

If he stays healthy he will get another shot to prove himself. Case Keenum isn't doing anything that Teddy (prior to getting hurt) isn't capable of doing

Still delusional about your boy I see....

Keenum has been playing WAY better than Bridgewater ever has before, yet you still convince yourself that he's capable of matching Keenum's stellar performance despite all of the evidence to the contrary.

You'd think by now you'd be willing to simply admit that you were way off base and move on....but you just keep being you.

Pass was a bit high and tipped by the receiver into the hands of the DB. Regardless of how good or bad Bridgewater is or will be, to use an interception in his first game since 2015 as a negative is ridiculous.

Teddy's first 2 seasons >>> Case Keenum's 1st 2 seasons in the NFL. Where was the "evidence" that Case was capable of playing this well the previous 5 years? Including last year where he had 9 TDs to 11 INT on the Rams...

It's not really that being a negative, it's just more of the same. He's just another bust QB that was WAY overhyped in the draft.

Keep hope alive for your boy, he's a good kid so I'll be happy if he finds a team willing to let him ride the bench for a decade like David Carr. That's pretty much his upside at this point.

Sure, and the team won based on having one of the best defenses in the league and one of the best run games in the NFL.....and despite one of the worst passing games in the league.

Imagine how good they'd have been if they had a better QB like Keenum. Oh wait, you don't have to imagine, you can just watch them right now.

Newsflash, the Vikings still have one of the best defenses in the league and a good running game. Except now they have the 3rd best passing protection out of any team in the league. You know in 2015, when Bridgewater last played, the Vikings were league worst in terms of pass protection?

Even in spite all that Bridgewater had a positive TD-INT ratio.

We all saw what Keenum could do with a line that can't protect, last year, 9 TD, 11 INT.

I know you are a bit slow, but that's what I was saying when I said "Imagine how good they'd have been if they had a better QB like Keenum. Oh wait, you don't have to imagine, you can just watch them right now."

It's suggesting that this year's team is similar to what they had back in 2015 with a good defense, good running game....only this time they have a competent QB.

Anyway, feel free to keep sucking off your draft crush that turned into a clear cut bust, at this point it doesn't really matter.

I like how you conveniently leave out the fact that the Vikings o-line can pass protect, one MAJOR difference from 2015.
