Agreed, though we're just talking common sense here. If you don't perform at the combine and have a rough pro day, of course your stock will fall.
Well, Teddy Bridgewater is probably not worthy of a top 10 pick, but someone will probably reach on him anyway.
Either Bridgewater is very smart, very stupid but one thing's for certain his agent already has an established relation with the most important people TB wants to deal with.
I am a huge Bridgewater fan, but... I am salty that he did not run. A month ago I thought TB5 would run and throw. To put it kindly, it makes me question his competitive spirit. I gained respect for Bortles, but I still do not like him as a 1st round prospect. I am starting to lean towards trading down, or drafting Khalil Mack 1.1
It's his representation telling him what to do. If you have a problem with it, question his choice in people he trusts. He hired a guy to make him the number 1 pick, he's simply following orders. There's no way he or Manziel didn't actually want to participate, they're just doing as they're told.
Yeah I was disappointe he didn't run too, I was looking forward to it but he sounded eager to run in interviews leading up to the combine and at his pressed on Saturday so it appears it's him being told not to run as opposed to him not wanting to compete. It's really hard o get to that level as an athlete and not be competitive.
http://podcast.footballguys.com/2014/Footballguys-Audible-2014-Vol16a.mp3 A great listen Gives great insight on Manziel and Bridgewater specifically
Manziel- operates in controlled chaos, my opinion has grown of him throw this listen Bridgewater- very fluid passer, similar but more controlled in comparison to Manziel outside the pocket, deep balls are off due to short to deep progression concepts Compares very close to Rich Gannon I can agree with that
With Parcells dumping on Bridgewater on top of the fact that no legit Belichick acolyte has ever drafted a QB with their first pick, it's fairly safe to say that Bridgewater is VERY unlikely to be the pick.
Parcell's was telling Bridgewater the same thing every top qb in this draft has heard. If Bridgewater is overdraft, what do you think Manziel and Bortles are?
People who listened to the whole segment would see that Parcells meant that for every qb in this draft.
With BOB requirements and Teddy's dedication to the game. I expect it to be very likely that Teddy is the pick.
