WInston might be a better runner and definitely heis more physical but he is not a better passer. Give Bridgewater Winston's O-Line and recievers snd it wouldn't be close. Tonight Bridgewater's team is dropping passes and making penalties and not blocking worth a crap.

Winstons not known for his legs at all.

He's known for his beautiful deep ball.

    He's similar to Andrew luck.

Idk where you got that he's a runner from...because he's black maybe?

And he just drove his team down for another TD after Louisville did nothing to stop Cincy

Every time I see a play like that I think "that crap would soo not work in the NFL".

I don't like seeing NCAA QBs who have tendencies to make throws like that... bad habits are hard to break.

In Bridgewater's defense, that is NOT a common play for him. Reminds me of Manziel, who is going to be a level 9000 turd of a pro QB.

Really that's your comment. For the record both Bridgewater and Winston can run. Just they choose mostly not too doesn't change that ability. What I am talking about accuracy. And I think if Bridgewater had FSU's O-Line his accuracy would be better than it is which is still better than Winston's as it is. It's my opinion disagree if you want but don't throw out idiotic comments.

I think Winston definitely has the size advantage over Bridgewater. In addition, Winston throws some amazing deep balls; would say he has a rocket arm since he plays baseball as well. Winston's accuracy is pretty good as well for a freshman, 68.8% completion with 35TD's and 8 INT's. He just has great arm strength and pretty good accuracy that could become great next year after a year under his belt.
I know Bridgewater is completing 71% with 25TD's and 3INT's but Louisville's competition isn't that great. Would take Winston over Bridgewater every time.

Yeah I get that. Honestly I haven't watched enough games or video of Winston to make that call. But I have seen enough to know I would be happy if Winston was available.

Bridgewater is 200lbs soaking wet. Winston is 6'4", 230lbs. so it's safe to say you're right about that. Bridgewater might have height, but he's standing on toothpicks & needs a glove to grip the ball since his hands are smallish. He might be more accurate on passes under 15 yards right now, but Winston has the better deep ball for sure.

All this and Winston's still just a freshman, playing against a signficantly higher level of competition. There's not a GM in the world that would take Bridgewater over Winston.

actually Winston is not that great of a runner, he put on a little weight since high school he might be a 4.5 guy now... his comparison is John Elway

and Winston is a very accurate qb.. EJ Manuel had the same recievers last year, and these guys were not putting up the numbers they are this year, Winston is elevating his wideouts, something ej manuel couldnt do

Can't believe how everyone is so enraptured with Bridgewater. Look at the level of competition he has been playing.

If the Texans go QB in the draft, it needs to be Manziel.. Not only is he the best QB in college football, he is a native Texan and plays for A&M.

Never underestimate the love Texans have for their local boys..

why is this about winston vs bridgewater?? winston isnt eligible and unless you guys are ready to go through another 2 win season and hope winston comes out next year i dont see the point of comparing them. i hope the front office does their homework this year and makes the right decision. ive seen way too many people act like know-it-alls on message boards then be completely wrong..

Okay Winston is not a better runner than Bridgewater. I saw him run a couple of plays this season and he has more rushing yards than Bridgewater but I concede I do not know Winston very well and am not more interested in him because he is not available.
