My wife dislikes Jason Sudeikis, too. She doesn't have a good reason, either. She liked We're the Millers. I think she didn't care much for Horrible Bosses. I've liked him in what I've seen. I also dislike SNL. I never found it funny.
I loved the first season. The direction away from football into characters in sitcom situations made me think it jumped the shark a little. I guess they know the tension off winning it all is the main pull but not a fan of the serial soap drama routine to prolong the story. Nate the snake smells like a wet turd in a bowl of wholesome roses, but i guess will serve is an obvious challenge to the lasso formula.
I often watch skits on YouTube that pop up from the 90s. Usually something with a funny title that has Chris Rock, Farley, Sandler and those guys from the early and mid 90s. But omg are they not funny. I WANT to laugh. But they’re just so awkward. i think snl might be better if they did more improve. Bc clearly their writers aren’t funny. to the thread topic, I lost interest midway through season 2. Got old. Wasn’t funny.
Just started watching this last night. 7 episodes in and I absolutely love this show. Does it stay this good?
I knew I could count on you. Haha. No, really. Thanks. I can’t stop watching. I would have stayed up all night last night if I wasn’t so exhausted.
It's a brilliant binge-watching show, and it was just as good the 2nd time I saw it, and I'm all kinds of ready for season 3.
I canceled my Apple TV+ until this show comes back when I’ll be ready to re-up. I remember finishing one episode with a huge smile on my face and screamed out loud to no one- “This show is so good!”
Sam about to get sued by Amazon for his sign and have his rich owner girlfriend pay to fight his court battles.
I still haven't seen the show and I know Coach Beard personally. Coach Beard is the creator and producer of the show.. He was a member of my sister's theater group in LA. Funny story, he did a wonderful play with the guy in the NBA League pass commercial who says "The Anderson's got tickets'.
for folks who like Ted Lasso, Apple's new show Shrinking is put out by the same folks who do Ted Lasso, and it has some of the same vibes. Very positive, very engaging.
