    Give me a break.

I was talking about the folks in Massachusetts, and haven't called anyone an idiot in this thread.

Did you really take personal offense to that? Really?

    Be honest, now.

but it was the whole of mary jo's life, and teddy paid no price for his role in her death. had he, some of us might have remembered him differently.

I was born in Boston, as was my mother who is a devoted Kennedy fan. I suspect you knew this all along. :(

Lol. I have no idea if this is facetious or not, but I'm assuming it is. (especially with the frowny face.)

It is not. I was born, as was my mother, at Boston Women's Lying-In Hospital, on August 27th (coincidentally, the same day, 25 years later, as my mother)...the timing of your post couldn't have been more knife-twisting.

So wait - your standard is that its OK to insult people, as long as they don't read it?

    Good lord.

FWIW, if you lived in Massachusetts and voted for Ted Kennedy, then yes, I do think you're an idiot. Especially in 1970.

I'm actually on fatty's side here. This is the D&D, and the subject of the thread is Ted Kennedy. Nothing fatty said was out of line.

One thing about it, the world sure has changed. No way anyone could be elected after something like that today.

Amusing, coming from someone who didn't even know anything about the incident until 2 months ago.

Amusing? Why should I have known about this incident? Seriously.

I thought it was typical for him to continually be re-elected in Mass. regardless of his buffoonery. But this incident, and the mass cover-up that apparently occurred was amazing to me.

So when did you learn of this? 2nd grade?

Funny that someone who prides himself on his drunk driving prowess would have such an issue with that incident. Wait, it's not funny, it's Fatty.
