On Bill Walsh 95 it wasn't fair to be Colorado....Kordell Stewart had a 100 rating for both speed and quickness  .

And personally, I always thought Randall Cunningham was sick in Tecmo because you could QB Sneak/Draw with him all day long.

OK, first of all Tecmo Super Bowl (aka the greatest game ever) is the only tecmo football game to discuss. the lesser Tecmo Bowl doesn't belong.

now, Bo Jackson was the most impressive player physically in the game, especially on an Excellent day. sanders was probably second b/c his speed was insane. Jerry Rice was nearly as impressive but he got his yardage in 80 yard chunks without having to dodge anyone so that makes up for some of it.

against the computer, i'd take either Rice or Bo as the best, though on an excellent day you'd probably have to take Bo b/c you don't have to worry about him being open like Rice (while Rice could outjump people and catch in coverage, there was a chance it would be incomplete, though of course never intercepted b/c Rice and Montana were both that good).

against another player, i think i'd take Bo or Randall Cunningham aka QB Eagles. both keep the chains moving, with QB Eagles possibly being even more unfair due to the scrambling ability almost no other qb had. really, if a receiver came open the defense had no chance. it was either a long completion or watching randall scramble for about 20 while the highlighted defender tries to cover the open receiver. virtually no chance to keep the eagles from getting 10 yards in 4 tries. as a defender, which i consider my specialty, i'd rather face bo than cunningham. i think i could scheme against Bo, but cunningham taking off would be tough.

also, when it came to teams, we always had a no 49ers (b/c of rice and montana) and no Bills rule (b/c the offense was so balanced and bruce smith was usually in your backfield as soon as the ball was snapped). this might be a reason i didn't choose rice against another player, because i basically never play with Rice against other people. the raiders were fair game in some instances. the eagles should've probably been illegal too (despite not dominating much in simulated seasons), not only b/c of cunningham, but b/c their D was ridiculously good and reggie white could do everything, even cover.

LT was the dominant defensive player but not enough to be mentioned over the offensive players. okoye doesn't make the cut b/c he was a fumble machine. also, KC sucked too much at passing to take the pressure off okoye enough.

and finally, JBIIRockets thinks he could win with the oilers over me, but that of course is laughable.

The Giants are by far the most dominant team though, the defense is insane, since Lawrence Taylor can be beaten by 40 yards when the ball is in the air and still pick the pass off. Then Meggett is too quick and Anderson runs through would-bes.

WHAT? No Barry Sanders? Oh, well... I guess I will vote The Nigerian Nightmare (not to be confused with the Nigerian Dream):

hahaha don't tell me you ran your QB all the way to your own 1 and then handed it off to Okoye!

 Oh, like Dave Krieg was ANY good at throwing it to ANYONE at all...? YES, I DID!:D

I mentioned Barry Sanders... I hardly played with OKOYE, but I knew he would ROLL OVER people, just like everyone would bounce off Steve Young. Sanders in '95 was the shiznits. I ran Andre Ware and Rodney Peete to the 1.
