The article is a few weeks old - it's not necessarily relevant to the 3-team tie that would happen if OU loses both this week and next and Texas loses to A&M. Certainly in a two-way tie, UT loses.
presumably tech would be considered 4th over a&m in the south b/c of head to head. then i guess ou would lose out at that step, leaving UT and osu, which would give us the tiebreaker with head to head according to that article and if the other records were calculated correctly. it was kinda eerie how there was a thread on hornfans about how similar the situation UT and ou were in compared to last year, except reversed (ou 9-1 with the awesome freshman qb needing to win 1 of 2 to make the big 12 title game like UT last year, UT 8-2, but an ugly 8-2, like ou last year) and then just like colt against kstate last year, bradford goes out and gets hurt very early in the game in a weird situation and ou blows the game after falling behind by 21 (just like us to ksu) and almost pulling off a miraculous comeback. if a woozy bradford plays osu next week and they lose a defensive battle squeaker and we make the big 12 title game, then lose to hawaii in a bcs game on a bunch of trick plays, then i'll be a little scared. ou will probably just win next week anyway or a&m will somehow beat us again.
Great win for TTech, HUGE loss for OU. DeMarco Murry also got hurt on that on-side kick attempt which could prove to be the win/lost factor against OkSt. next week. This season has been absolutely ridiculous.
So basically, it doesn't matter whether we win or lose to A&M as far as the B12 title goes. If OU loses to OSU, we win it; if they win, they win it. Strange.

Hey I just found out that my brother was the "lighting guy" for ESPN as well for the sideline reporters! He said it was a pure madness at the end........as he was there with Harrell during the interview. He was also involved with several of the interviews at halftime including stoops. It was really cool to see him on National tv.

To be fair, UT and Missouri beat us this year.. We are a completion and a timeout from being 10-2. That said, we OWNED OU today. We've only beaten OU once before since the Big XII started and we barely beat them then. This could be a large turning point for the Sooners, and in an Aggie way. We ain't scared of you anymore. Trump calling OU out combined with one of our teams good wins? And the score at the end dictates that OU was ever close, which they weren't. As Hank Hill would say, no offense, but they're from Oklahoma...
Glad Tech won and is causing more BCS havoc. Now Missouri will probably beat Kansas and Missouri will then lose to Oklahoma in the title game causing even more of a shake up. I hope the Razorbacks can also find something in order to upset LSU. Then it would probably be a Ohio State-West Virginia title game. Now that is not what I want to happen but due to the unpredictable nature of this year's season it probably will. Hopefully Kansas will win their last 2 games and West Virginia gets in the mix. I could live with a West Virginia-Kansas matchup.
ou and UT have 2 losses now. but OU still has to play OSU. UT still has A&M. if UT wins and OU loses OU would have more losses so UT would go to the champ game.
UT fans rejoyce once again. That TD (well almost TD) by Crabtree was freaking sick! Cant wait till next year so we can tear it up again. (crossing fingers) we don't lose Leach.
