    You can't use DDR2 in a DDR3 board, correct. Anywhere a 3800 works, a 6670 and 7770 will work, assuming they physically fit your case.

    Any cheap cooler that is socket compatible should be fine, you can use socket type as a search criteria on newegg. Assuming you went with the mb combo I posted this would be fine.

    I would say that if your more concerned with gaming than say media conversion you might want to spend a few extra bucks and get an intel Core I3/mb/memory. It'll be faster and you will spend ~$200.

    oh and you don't need a cooler with the Intel combo.

    lol oh ok. i think whats throwing me off is i see this PCIE x16 and PCI 2.0 and PCI 3.0 and me not knowing jack about computers want to make sure i'm not buying a part that might not work.
