So, he had a bad game. It happens. Don't write the guy off yet. Broncos still control their own destiny. A win and they are in.

Not the biggest Tebow fan (people even heaped the "hater" label on me, for point out his shortcomings), in the world, while the hysteria is something that would amuse a pack of coyotes dressed in tutus. With so many mediocre performances to gut-wrenching 4th comebacks, back to the constant 3 and outs to unexpected big passing plays opening up down the field, after a 6 to a 30-plus yard gain from a running play; set up by Tebow or caused by Tebow, himself.

In the midst of halfway obsessive fans, and even more obsessed mainstream media, there stands the 2011 Denver Broncos sitting on the edge of their first playoff appearance, in nearly six NFL seasons. A seemingly frustrated management and coaching staff literally sits between a rock and hard place, in the best or worst way, in which they might have pretty decent QB on their hands or a career athletic project who may never quite, become an even fairly adept NFL passer.

If the Broncos keep winning with Tebow . . . they should let their QB stay (and management would agree). He possesses untouchable intangibles with motivating his team to reach another level.Similarly to his college, Tebow continues to invigorate his teams, more so than alot of standard QBs, as he tirelessly did in college.

In regards to teammates in general, it does take a somewhat, rare individual (leader) or even dominant personality to push a team to victory in most sports, consistently. Not necessarily the greatest athletic talent or even wisest player, but yet an individual who can inspire his peers to go beyond what is required for them to win.

On the other hand, he's lacking the potential to be a really good passer in the league, unlike Matt Stafford and even Cam Newton. Which is weird, because for some reason, many analysts and critics did not believe Newton could succeed as NFL quarterback, with mostly the connotation of run-heavy QBs, being unable to make the throws and decisions that are a prerequisite for the position. In other unrelated news, Mr. Cam Newton has broken several passing records as an NFL rookie quarterback, while being questionable quarterback and overall #1 pick in 2011 NFL Draft.

The thing is I watched alot of SEC games, obviously being in the South and watching UGA games. These criticism have been with him, since he started at Florida, as the weaknesses in his game have always been on display. He obviously in college could not out throw someone, like Matt Stafford, who almost perfectly fits the description as a "classical QB."

Tebow could not make those tough sideline throws, and passes in traffic as Stafford. Also, lacking the arm strength of vertical passes, lacking flick of wrist type of throws, and going through the reads of the defense vs. location of the receivers.

On the contrary, Tebow and his combo skill-set almost always won big games in the SEC and against other national powerhouses, outside of conference. While, the "Georgia Bulldogs" as usual, even with Matt Stafford and Knowshon Moreno, never sniffed a national title, as it could've been, because of talent disparity, worse coaching, or the almighty, never ending list of et cetera that leads to we do not having a damn clue about such things. For the most part, I hate buying into mantras, like, "He just wins, nothing else about it," or ,"You can't measure a player by stats, you have to look at what he does on the field, especially for his team." "(The losing player with gaudy numbers) He's just a stats guy/stat padder or a great athletic talent (with possibly no heart to win)."

A counter argument of mines, would be what about the player's actual production in regards to winning as how much weight does his teammates carry or how big are the crosses they bear, as there's a difference between when LeBron James helps his team win a game versus Mo Williams, when he is credited with winning a game, in which one player's impact, regardless of winning or losing is typically greater.

One player for the most part, in a Jason Terry, Eric Decker, or Steve Kerr manner, can often hit great shots or catch a pass, throughout the game, especially late in the 4th quarter, and be seen as hero, even in losses . . . a great benefit to a team. Sort of a mere mortal person on the team, who does not have benefit of great athleticism, versatility on offense and defense, or even the overall skill set to be a greater than average to possibly above average performer. Since, these type of players exist as mere men in a big game, like most men in the world.

In the other category is the superstar - "The LeBron James" ... "The Yao Ming" ... "The Dan Marino" . . . "The Barry Bonds" . . . "The Carmelo Anthony" and etc. Those exceptional talents, who could never quite win the big playoff games or series, while even experience early upsets in the playoffs or no playoff appearances at all. Many think how could such a player, not win more often when he or she is gifted to the utmost with so much God-given talent and ability, with quite possibly and even stronger will power.

Regardless, if one scores less or more points compared to his usual production, or even provides more or less great defense. Comes to the point of even nit-picking, where a star player, such as Amare Stoudemire, misses a rebound or a defensive assignment for one or even two series of plays. It happens in vice versa as well, to the inferior players on the team.

Who in reality controls the fate of a team's overall success: the "Superstar (s)" or the other mere, yet gifted mortals of a specific team.

To swinging it bluntly, We'll never decide on one idea of that nature, as we would argue for probably the next 1,000 years (and more) of who is more important in that team dynamic - who holds the most responsibility in losing, as much glory as in winning. Does the superstar(s) fall, or does the rest of the team fall, further and more bleaker?

In Tebow's case, University of Florida, of course, had some of the best recruiting in the country, as far as athletics go. Point in case, being that Tebow had the superior talent around him to win most or alot of Division-IA NCAA football games, combined with great coaching, as well. Yet, with so much talent, and exceedingly skillful players in Florida Gators' history - both modern and past.

In spite of all of that, Florida has not produced alot of great QBs (especially over the last couple of decades), whether it's regard to the NCAA or NFL, like most teams. Furthermore with Tebow and a lesser extent, Urban Meyer, the Gators might have had their best four year run with those two individuals. Likewise, Tim Tebow is arguably one of the greatest QBs in Florida Gators history, and quite possibly the history of the SEC. His talents succeeded more than enough to be a serial record breaking player in college, in rather high-pressured circumstance at a perennial powerhouse within, possibly the toughest conference in college football: The SEC.

    Something is there . . .

Once, he arrived to the NFL, after intense magnifying glasses in almost all 50 states stood right over him, as quite possibly one of the most controversial 1st round picks in history with possibly and even more controversial head coach, Josh McDaniels. Even with his glaring struggles in passing game, in his short time, he's found a way to win the NFL, unlike most rookies or even veteran, but pain-stalking (as fans say) average quarterbacks.

Disregarding the last game or so, he's been able to not kill his team with risky throws or back-breaking interceptions, while even making some spectacular drives down the field in a Broadway graceful, yet dirtied-up ruffian manner - scrambling for a big gain or scrambling to his right and making several nice completions, while keeping the defense on their toes, but RB hand offs, or handing out one of those Tebow tuck "n" run type plays. In a moment of now or forever, the audience will have to live long enough, in order to see the final outcome as Tim Tebow, the NFL quarterback.

Most of all, Tebow is currently Vince Young, without the emotional unhinging and immaturity, though with a more polarizing exterior and a bit more awareness on and off the field, but with almost the same exact criticism to their "suspect" passing attacks. Thrown into blender, a similar " . . . never say die attitude," as Vince Young with a slight more aggressive drive and passion to win.

The best example in my opinion was actually the SEC Championship lost to Alabama in the 2009 season, where he was crying at the end of the game. He really cares about this game, regardless if he is fated into that polarizing "Superstar" or a mere, mortal role player stuck as a mediocre NFL passer (with amazing running skills that may eventually decline), yet exceptionally outstanding college career, like several NFL quarterbacks. Though, Tebow could also reach that sort of gray area: the "kind of, sort of Superstar player, but definitely not elite," type of career that one Michael Vick has falling into in modern times.

In reality, he probably takes all of this raucous hysteria and sometimes his own football play, as a grain of salt, whether it's his overzealous fans, or his arduous critics. In fact, right now, he's probably snickering about the madness at a dinner table with his family, or possibly a Christmas religious service at his church.

Simply, saying thank you for this opportunity, in his head.

College is so different. Guys like Tebow, Vince, and Denard Robinson are arguably more effective than traditional pocket passers.

The Reality on Tebow is he can literally change the way the game is played
and the serious reality is. . . no one in the NFL wants that to happen

I am not talking about from the QB position . . .per se
    Maybe a hyper H-Back or something . . .
What has always bothered me most is the NFL is such a conservative atmmosphere

It has always been this way . . . this is the way it should be. . . .
    Change is slow in incremental

They dumped on the Run and Shoot but now elements of it
is in most play books [If you recall it was what started people
counting how many men are 'in the box' . . .before it no one mentioned that]

Tebow . . .Is a useful player. . . the coaches have to figure out how to use him best
But . .. conservative lazy coaching doesn't want to think out side the box to do it
Anything that is not the SAME OLE or too far from it . .. requires too much thought
then they have issues with it

The reason they keep coming up with ridiculous bull***** penalties to help offenses is because
DEFENSES ARE MORE DYNAMIC AND CREATIVE THAN OFFENSES

The Broncos will bring in another head coach before giving up on Tebow. The dude is just too popular. As for his game, I thought it was improving, but wow, just wow. He almost seems to loathe being slightly good or slightly bad. Nothing less than amazing or hideous, and he usually serves up some of both, sometimes in the same game, sometimes in the same half, sometimes in the same freaking possession.

Tim Tebow delivered the highest tvratings of the entire season. Roger or the owners will find a way to make tebow a good qb.

Are you not a football fan? Have you not been following this at all this year? His teammates love him. This is normal SRO for any team to have little rules like this, and this was before he was the starter.

Let's go Tebow. This is your day to win the AFC west and put the Broncos into the playoffs after taking over a 1-4 team. It would be historic.

I am a huge football fan. I have been following the season very closely. Because of this I know you're wrong about team's having 'little rules like this'. They don't.

    LOL, 3 points.

All the Broncos needed was a mediocre offense, and they'd be a playoff team.
