i don't think parker is a shoot first guard like kyrie, kyrie is basically a shooting guard in the pg's body and does not know how to initiate the offense like parker
How often have you seen Kyrie play? My guess is very little. Did you see the Team USA Showcase? Did he look like a SG in a PG body who didn't know how to initiate an offense?
Yeah exactly. People forget that Kyrie came into the draft as a floor general type PG who's strength was running the offense (people thought he would have limited upside because of that). Then, because he played on a horrible Cleveland team with no other scoring options, he shot the ball a lot. But he has elite level PG abilities.
He looked like a complete scrub. Chandler Parsons is a jack of all trades. Great for teams where he's the 2nd or 3rd option, not so much when he's the 1st or the 5th option.
Actually thats exactly what parker is , a shoot first pg. He evolved a lot over the years, he can really run an offense right now, but at for years he sucked at it.
Derrick Rose. Had the Heat not existed the Bulls might have won the championship that year they made it to the conference finals. Russell Westbrook went to the finals recently as well, might have gotten there again if he didn't go down.
Am rooting for Parsons. I tend to think that when players perform well on Team USA, that its some confidence momentum that carries over into the NBA season. Though, cheap as it is, Parsons not making a good impression for Team USA keeps his future CONTRACT worth down. Consider it a win-win. If Parsons does well and makes the team, that can carry over good for Rockets on-court. And it helps Parsons recruit other players even better. If Parsons underwhelms, it helps Rockets wallet just a little bit more which enables sign another helpful player anyway.
