No if you break those two bones the way his ankle turned there would be an open wound. Definite ligament damage.

Sure looked like a clean break in his lower leg. Looked terrible but I suppose it could be worse if it had been an ankle or knee. Poor guy - hopefully he comes back later this year better than ever.
Pacers forums are blowing up. This is horrible for George and the whole Pacer community. I can't even imagine.

Is this the first serious injury that a player has sustained while playing for the USA team? I cant remember another one.
This could have happened anywhere - could have been drew league, could have been training camp or a pickup game with friends.
