Few people are better at managing talent than him (while the real coaches handle the X's and O's in the background).

PJ as an Xs and Os coach is above average but his ability to get hotheaded players to win is nothing to scoff at. Spo isnt a bad coach but let's not give the guy too much credit. As much as i hate lebron, the guy actually grew some balls, carried his team (until they were ready to show up), and played up to his potential. Rick Adelman and JVG are still far superior coaches imo.

Brooks made some mistakes but OKC also seemed to have disappeared completely almost the entire finals with the exception of Westbrook. Chalk it up to superior coaching or whatnot but I think it was more of Lebron finally showing up and a lack of experience on OKC's part. Mike Brown really could have coached miami to a championship.

I agree. Lebron was the reason for the Miami and Okc did disappear. But give Spo his due credit for his successes he had because he sent out better lineups and less Joel Anthony haha. I do not think he should ever coach olympics, ever; but he has definitely proved his coaching stripes this past year.

Pop is one of the all-time greats, but I'll go with Doc. Despite the Ray Allen issues, he has always been a highly regarded players coach. Guys love him and play hard for him. Plus he is only 50, and could coach for many years.

Pop wouldn't be a bad choice, but he wouldn't be as fun.
