The Rockets proved that they are capable of challenging and defeating the golden state warriors with a healthy Chris Paul. Its rare to have a team this talented with this much chemistry. The only big change Daryl Morey should try to pursue is getting rid of ryan anderson by any means necessary. Its not worth it to be super emotional and scream things like “blow it up”, “dont resign injury prone cp3” or “dont match capela” We are right there. We are so close. This was just year 1 of a 4 year window of the harden plus cp3 partnership.
I think we need to get another superstar I can’t trust CP3’s health, he goes down in the playoffs almost every time, and if he does, it goes right back to Harden trying to carry a bunch of inconsistent role players...I can’t trust CP3 to last through 4 playoff rounds...plus he’s aging, a big decline can happen real quick Those saying blow it up or don’t re-sign CP3 are straight up idiots. I won’t fault those who don’t want to match a max contract for Capela, but he is not easy to replace at all. Do we really have a choice? Capela is very valuable to this team and keeps getting better.

Would love Bradley and Dedmon could be a great back up for Capela (even though he has a player option)
Morey has to swallow his analytical pride and attach a couple first round picks to Anderson so a rebuilding team will take him off the Rockets’ hands. The other three are foundational building blocks and key pieces of a championship team.
