wow timing, I bet you play the lotto quite a bit. Let's just say that when 86% of your sample is irrelevant to the argument at hand, perhaps you should consider a different argument.
Just because 86% of the attackers are male doesn't make that argument irrelevant. If 86% of airline deaths were caused by mechanical failure and 14% of airline deaths were caused by hijackings that wouldn't change the argument that when planes crash people die. When kids are sexually assaulted they report problems at a higher degree than those who aren't assaulted, regardless of the attacker's gender. That's the argument that's backed by the article.
that lady is messed up... when im a teacher, god kill me if a thought like that ever crosses my mind.
Well, I think there COULD be some damage done to boys as well if something like this happens...but I know what I would have thought...the same thing as these two: UH...HUH-HUH....I SCORED!!!!!
First off, these kids weren't assaulted. Assault: A violent physical or verbal attack "sexual assault" and "statutory rape" are oxymorons. They are only used to drag the "attacker" down to a rapist levels in the mind of a jury. Im sure these kids didn't go tell their momma's what happened. She was probably busted in mid-act or through bragging-gossip chain. She should be fired. Everyone got what they wanted. Nobody is hurt. If she should be charged, it should be "indecency with a minor". And then the kids should place the complaint.
It's a good thing that you don't write statutes, Space Ghost, because that definition would leave out alot of sexual assaults. For instance, what about date rape? Rohypnol? Forced sex through intimidation, based on the threat of actual violence? In Texas, a sexual assault occurs when person A engages in sex (as definted in the statute) with person B, without person B's consent. When person B is underage, they cannot legally consent. There's nothing oxymoronic about that. Yeah, boys and girls are different, but does that make it OK for her to sleep with kids? Would it have been OK if the boys had been 12 instead of 15? Bottom line, this teacher committed a criminal act that she should be punished for.
