Wild that none of 19 kids would refuse to do that and make the director send them to the principals office. I was in band, even in Junior High its not like a regular class where you do your hour a day and forget it...there are concerts and competitions its like an extra family. Course I guess its hard to hold kids to that high a standard when adults will administer shocks to people even if they think they are killing em' in experiments, as long as "someone in authority" tells them to. The Band Director should and will lose his job.
Humiliating any child is not proper punishment and I hope the turd is fired. Anyone justifying this action, must not have children. If you do have children, and condone humiliation as punishment, I hope your neighbors turn you in to DFPS. If he did that to my child he would have serious problems.
poor thing...he got humiliated this is what happens you cant just bust out the paddles in schools anymore
