13-16 year old boys are some of the most devious little ****s out there. They are absolutely manipulative and governed by hormonal drive. Yes, and I don't see why a twenty something year old superior in the situation would have any reason to hang out with a child. The only place a teacher should be seeing a student at all outside of school is at a school sponsored event.

Maybe that was always the intended definition, but it has always played out to mean a male adult who has sex with a child of any sex or an adult who has sex a female child.

I suspect it has always socially had to do with the idea of who has the hard object and was sticking to whom. And young boys are expected to want to stick their penises in things.
