Can you even read or comprehend? I said that they over-reacted numerous times. I think she should have expected to have her ruse interfered with but I don't think she should have been harmed. You'll probably have to go back close to my very first post in this thread to find that little nugget.

I think you are quite loopy to think there is any kind of comparison to a rape and what this woman did....

no woman is defenseless and she didn't get stomped. She got pressure from one shoe... mostly on her shoulder.

they over reacted --- but she had it coming? ...and it wasn't that bad

can you see where we're not comprehending what we're reading?

What? I rationalized intervention but not to the degree exercised. Look at one of my first posts: I congratulated her on what should be a nice settlement check.

Here's my question: do you have the integrity to go check that out or are you just going to go with your ignorant claim?

No, I'm reading quotations from posters here. Not necessarily you. I am definitely NOT seeing what I would like to see. :(

Actually the comparison was between the sign and the box-cutters which don't seem the caliber of weapon that could take down a commercial airline. At least be accurate.

Yes we should be accurate. There is no evidence that box cutters did take down a commercial airline.

Again what we know from the people on the plain is that someone was stabbed, shot, and a chemical spray was used. We also know that one hijacker threatened to have a bomb.

There is no evidence that box cutters were used at all.

She was pinned down and balled up in the fetal position. While it may not seem like much pressure to you... The guy is easily over 200 lbs. He didn't come down with all of the force he could, but he did at least go 60-70% of what he could. 60-70% of 200 lbs on somebody's neck/face/head region can cause a concussion (what she was diagnosed with at the hospital) along with other injuries. One does not need to be knocked out to suffer a mild concussion.

Let's keep the main thing the main thing: "The box cutter-knives story isn't demonstrably false, but it serves to divert attention from the other weapons and to mask the fact that we don't have any idea how the hijackings happened."

The main thing being that the planes were brought down with some kind of unlikely weapon. Yeah, that bomb threat is really convincing; I'm sure that's what did it... you can stab someone with box-cutters, too.

I just looked at DM's "version" of the video. Did I miss something or do I never see that man's white shoe obscuring her dark hair? Check it out. I'm gonna go look again...

Are you saying that one or both events didn't actually occur? If they both did then comparisons can legitimately be made. Before 9/11 no one would have imagined a box-cutter being capable of being used to bring down a plane of that size. Do you disagree with that perception?

well....I readily admit I'm not about to reread your 50+ !! posts in this thread. But several dozen posts suggesting she 'should have expected it' or 'triggered it' or 'she could have been a real threat' or 'that it really wasn't that bad' would pretty much be the definition of 'rationalizing', no? Even if you preface it by saying it was wrong.

Fess up. You're just messing with us, aren't you?

There is no evidence that a box cutter brought down a plane. There is zero evidence that it happened.

In fact the the evidence is that other more threatening weapons brought down the planes.

how about we hold off on what brought down the planes in 911, lest ToyCen chime in with his ideas, too  ?
