Watch the video closer. He does stomp on the bottom portion of her head and neck. The guy has some extra weight to him and it doesn't take much pressure to cause a concussion and do damage to a small woman. Running up to a car to hold a sign up to it does not warrant or justify being tackled and assualted. This is all she was doing. You can watch the video again. She ran up to the van, realized her sign was backwards... as she flipped it around, a small portion of the sign barely goes into the van. At this point she is pulled away. Almost a minute after the fact, as it was clearly obvious she had no weapon... she's then yanked down to the ground (somebody got a nice boob grab in there too), and then stepped on by Mr. Profitt. For anybody that has been in an altercation, you know that things happen fast and untrained people lose control (as is the case here). There is still no justification for what happened and they need to be punished. It is also another black eye for the Tea Party.
I'm basing my claim on watching the video. The video shows her in the crowd as the car approaches. The video shows her approach the car, and what happened next. Again check out the link in Samurai Jack's post. The video shows the whole thing. She never stuck her hand or sign in the window of the car. To say she did is a lie, and the video proves it.
Other posters have already replied but yes her cranium is touched. She is wearing a hooded sweatshirt which obscures some of it but if you look at the outline of her shoulder and head you can see his feet coming down on part of her head. Anyway as noted before just the act of stomping on any part of her body while she is lying prone on a concrete can potentially cause very serious harm. Of course its her right. Yes it is provocative but it is well within our rights to heckle or try to embarrass a politician.

giddy, you have said that the guy was not justified in doing what he did. But when you go out of your way to blame the victim and repeat the lie that she reached into the car you are lessening the man's culpability
I find it endlessly entertaining to imagine the response if the exact same incident had occurred, only it was those two Black Panthers we keep hearing so much about as the stompers and some Tea Patriot with a sign as the stompee.
I didn't repeat the lie. Since it came into question, I haven't said a word about her sticking her arms inside of his car... although I did look at SJ's video and that is just what she was trying to do and her sign corner did make it into the car before she was pushed back.... for the record!
Her sign corner may have inadvertantly made it inside while she was flipping it around. She wasn't sticking the sign, her arm or anything else into the window.

Not tryin to justify stomping her head (that was wrong), but she was escorted away first then she ran at Paul a second time and that's when she was "stomped".
