When it comes to immature internet fights, I think they should be started anew in each thread. That is, bringing fights from other threads and polluting a new one without any provocation is poor netiquette -- poorer than having the fight in the first place.
I brought it up because I know you live for internet love. This is another case in which someone was making fun of you and you didn't even know it. Sometimes I get a little ashamed of picking on you.
I understand and appreciate this. The only statement I think you are giving yourself too much credit on is when you said you had 'answered a significant number of questions and challenges.' So far, I have seen you answer extremely few of the questions and challenges that have been put to you, which is the behavior of a troll, not of someone interested in debate and discussion. I told you last week that I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt because you initially came out claiming to be a thinking conservative interested in debate and discussion. Since then, you have specifically stated that you will simply ignore posts or portions of posts that you somehow see as not worthy of your attention. That is downright rude to people who put in the effort to post their own thoughts and questions. The thing is, if you act that way, then you are simply being a rude troll who isn't worthy of reasoned debate. It's fine with me if that is the kind of poster you want to be, but if that is the direction you are going to go, you will soon find yourself on my ignore list and on the deserving end of many, many insults by the posters at whom your rudeness is directed.

No, I have pointed out repeatedly your trollike behavior. It has nothing to do with being conservative, it has nothing to do with political correctness. It has to do with treating other posters, even the ones with whom we disagree, with dignity and respect. When you ignore the points brought up by other posters, particularly in threads that you started, it is downright rude and definitely trollike. Apparently you have as bad a problem with reading comprehension as the poster so many are saying you remind them of. It is not your point of view that is "not well tolerated," it is the way you put your point of view out there, refusing to acknowledge the points that other poster make and the questions that they ask. If you ask me a direct question, I will most likely answer it because I am not a rude troll. If asked to refute a point made by a poster, I will make an honest try because I am not a rude troll.
Come on, Bats, you and Fatty have been going off like this for weeks. If you continue, I will ignore y'all so I don't have to dig through threads to try and find the actual debate and discussion. I have tried repeatedly to get him to post from a place of intellectual honesty, civility, and honest discussion, but those tries are nearly at an end.
