Well one was a waitress at the bar that was hosting the Halloween party and she said, "I'm never going to serve you again." The other person said, "I don't care if it is a Halloween costume, I don't want to see it." Another person said basically the same thing. Anyway some of the people who were offended felt better when I let them rip up the sign at the end of the night. Here's a pic of the costume. So you can judge for yourself.
Of course, I will post what I want to post. Your arguments are the ones that are unsubstantiated and that do not stand up to scrutiny. I have provided comments to the issues and questions that I considered worthy of an answer. Many of the remarks that you and your brethren have posted recently are so ridiculous that they do not merit a response. Try to get your facts straight, or at least straighter than they are, and then we can have an intelligent dialog. Also, lose the name calling and personal attacks. I am not going to get involved in that sort of exchange with you. But you should expect that this sort of conduct will be called out going forward.
Possibly but that would've required more than the 10 minutes that I put into making the costume. Its ironic that you bring that up as a friend of mine shot somebody with the pellet gun. I felt pretty bad as I had unloaded it and had the safety on but there was one pellet left in the chamber and my friend in the process of drunkenly waving it around released the safety. The gun shoots plastic pellets that can't even punch through a quarter inch of cardboard so the person wasn't hurt but I still felt bad about it. The one suggestion that I got about the costume, besides not wearing it, was from somebody who liked it but thought it would've been better if I misspelled something on the sign.
And you should expect to be called out for what you are: a whiny, Jazz-y flopper. We've had more than our share of your kind on this board. People who set bombs and then run away when confronted with actual debate get no respect.
Chekhov's gun: Yeah, that's why I'd be unsettled hanging out with someone who's carrying any type of firearm (even one that doesn't break the skin). Drinking + guns does not a fun Halloween make.
Ignoring other people's responses isn't "Debate and Discussion," it is "Ignore and Deny," which seems appropriate for you given the dearth of ideas that most republicans are afflicted with these days. So, you reserve the right to ignore anything that you can't answer and call out posters for what you define as "name calling." Any other posting rules of yours that we should be aware of? I was hopeful that you would live up to the ideals that you came into this forum talking about (civility, reasoned debate, etc.), but it is becoming clear that you have nothing of substance to offer. I challenge you to be better than the Glenn Becks, Sean Hannitys, and Rush Limbaughs of this world. Just because they are on the short end of the idea stick doesn't mean that you have to be as well.

Did you notice the moniker of the person mark was addressing? Reading comprehension appears to be a problem for you. I can help, I work for a university and can recommend a number of good remedial reading instructors if you like.

I have posted quite a few lengthy, substantial posts since I started getting involved here within the last two weeks. I now have over 180 posts, most of which have been made in the D&D forum and nearly all have been made during this two week period. I have addressed a wide range of topics, responded to quite a few posts, and answered a significant number of questions and challenges. I am hugely outnumbered by left leaning posters here, many of who are quite hostile towards conservatives. Although this may seem insufficient to you, I am not on 24 hour standby waiting to answer your posts. I have other responsibilities and interests that require my time and attention. The amount of personal bandwidth that I choose to make available to this board is limited. The answers I have given have been adequate in my view, and superior to those of the posters who have challenged my comments in almost every case. That is my assessment of the situation. If you see things differently, that is your opinion, and you have your right to it.
