TB is not a virus, its a bacteria. So thread title makes no sense.

I would BE PISSED if I got it from someone else who was told to not fly.

    DEFINITELY PISSED!!

Sometimes, you have to put other people first then yourself...hard to do, I know but that was an idiotic move.

So how did this guy get it in the first place??? I mean he's a lawyer, so I assume he isn't eating food from the garbage or sleeping in public bathrooms. And even if they contain all the people on the flights, what about the source that started this thing in the first place... ?

The guy basically attempted to commit murder, like somebody that knowingly spreads HIV.

I would consider anyone who did something like this where there is potential for infecting other people with a life-threatening illness MURDER if a person on that plane ends up dying whether there was intent or not. He knew he had a deadly illness and, yet, he traveled anyway. He could be responsible for infecting and killing innocent people due to that behavior. While it seems unfair that he cannot air travel due to this, how fair is it to the rest of the passengers to ride on the same plane with this guy and not know what their getting into?

This guy is irresponsible in my book.

I'm not a lawyer, but I think it would be qualify as manslaughter or negligent homicide if someone contracts the disease from him and dies.
