So this is the "medium" annoucement, hmmmm...now I expect a bigger one that may involve releasing or trading a player, maybe B.Cook and B.Barry, just to open roster space for Chase. Oh and probably J.White will be waived or be part of a trade deal. How about this guys? 3-way trade: Houston gets: G. Davis (sign and trade from Boston) Boston gets: M. Daniels (sign and trade from Indiana) Indiana gets: B. Cook, B. Barry or J. White plus Trade exemption then... Houston trades T-Mac to Boston for Ray Allen and Tony Allen. then... Boston wins 2010 Championship with KG, Sheed, Pierce and T-Mac!!! LOL
Lol we are defintely not letting Chase slip through our fingers after his incredible performance in SL. we're probably going to waive James White for him.
Relax, I think Taylor has at least as much, and probably more upside than Budinger. Actually, I hope to see both in the rotation by the second half.
Hm. I really prefer Budinger and Newley. I hope there is something in this kid that I just a fan can not see through but experts can find out.
I prefer Budinger at the moment, however I think that JT has a higher ceiling in the long run. I don't see him reaching it though. Chase can do more for this team right now.
WHERE ARE YOU GETTING THIS BUDINGER = BIRD STATEMENT FROM? IS IT HIS SILKY SMOOTH 3 POINT STROKE? WHAT IS IT?
JT kind of... reminds of Dwayne Wade. Both are 6'4 and both have that scoring ability (well JT didn't really show it during summer league) but he'll come around... hopefully. He just needs some NBA experience and some time to develop and could be a nice addition to the team later on.
I hope Rockets can sign James White, I still want him in a NBA game. This leaves space for Dorsey, White or Budinger, am I correct?
White is signed for this season. If I am not mistaken He signed a contract covering this upcoming season.
Nice signing. JT will probably suprise most of us, he must have been doing well in workouts and stuff that we haven't seen.
You guys are great. JT = Dwyane Wade Budinger = Larry Bird I think there's a chance that both could be solid role players on our mediocre team, but that's a best case scenario. Also, let's not forget that neither are that great on defense.
I don't understand how you can make this statement. Budinger can dribble with both hands, Taylor has no left; Budinger has a much higher standing leap than Taylor; Budinger is the clearly superior shooter and driver; Taylor is easy to defend because he is short for a SG as opposed to Budinger who is an easy three inches taller and big for a SG; Budinger has a high basketball IQ while Taylor is average at best; Chase made his bones in a major conference where Jermaine did not; and Budinger is always on the move whereas Taylor tends to skitter around the perimeter. Taylor has better lateral movement but that is about it as far as his superiority. What does this all mean? Budinger will be traded because he is the better talent and we can get more for him. That's the way Morey thinks. Moneyball always takes the lesser talent because there's more perceived value (talent to dollars). Morey set a value on Gortat that was exceeded so he settled for a much lesser talent with bad feet in Ariza. The Lakers knew the condition of his feet and happily let him go in a "trade" for Artest.
