I've already gotten my refund. $2,500, which is surprising because I make quite a bit.

 

Well I am getting back $800 from federal and I am getting $177 back from state for a total of about $1000. Most of you Texans do not have to worry about state though.

 

My wife is a CPA and has us down where we need to be on our withholding to basically either get a tiny bit back, or owe a tiny bit.

 

I think the sleazy company worked for las year wont send me my tax stuff. What do I do?

 

Somewhere between $0 and $1000. My usual's around 600, though I just got a raise, so I don't know if I've moved tax brackets or anything. I'll find out later.

 

thus far it says i owe 500, and I have no idea how or why. last year I got back 700 before i deducted school expenses.

Hopefully my last sememsters tuition will be enough to get me out of the red.

 

I'm hoping its about the same as last year.. about 2000 between state and fed.

 

I think its a law that they have to by end of January.
Maybe contact workforce commission if they dont?

I'm single with no kids and I made about 35k this past year. This is my first time filing for taxes. How much can I expect to pay or receive?

 

Getting back around $2100.00. Finally gonna pay of last years HD TV purchase and buy another. W00t!

 

depends on how much you already paid through withholding

 

If single and zero, I'd guess you'd receive around a little more than $1000.00 or so back.
