So this is the first time that I see these forms. All lines are $0. I actually lost a little money on the only stock transaction last year. Do I still have to report these or don't even bother. I ask because H&R Block needs upgrade for these forms and I don't want to pay the upgrade fee. Thanks.
all the lines are zero? If they are all zero why would you get one? The base of the stock vs what you sold them for should help your bottom line if you lost money on them. I'm a bit confused as to why your 1099 says all zeros though
Just downloaded from the account. They combined 1099-DIV with all these other forms. So 1099-DIV is useful I guess. The rest are just all $0. I guess I will ignore those since there is nothing to report.
